Nationals designated OF Eddie Rosario for assignment
Advice: The Nationals will move on from Rosario to clear a spot on their roster for top prospect James Wood. Rosario has had a really poor season for Washington, hitting .183/.226/.329 in 67 games; however, he does have seven home runs, eight steals, and a career-high average exit velocity of 90.6 mph. As a veteran left-handed hitter, Rosario is likely to find an opportunity somewhere as a bench bat. Perhaps his old team, the Atlanta Braves, will look to bring him back after injuries to Ronald Acuna Jr. and Michael Harris II.
