Lindor went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Friday's 7-2 win over the Astros.

Advice: The veteran shortstop has flipped the switch in the second half of June. Lindor has racked up three straight multi-hit performances, and over the last 11 contests he's batting a scorching .370 (17-for-46) with two of his 13 homers and four of his 14 steals on the season, along with seven doubles, eight RBI and 12 runs. • Stunned by San Diego
Pivetta (4-5) took the loss Friday, coughing up five runs on seven hits and a walk over four-plus innings in a 9-2 loss to the Padres. He struck out four.

Advice: The right-hander was cruising through four innings, but San Diego erupted for all nine of its runs in the fifth before Boston's pitching staff was able to secure an out. Pivetta served up a two-run homer to Kyle Higashioka to begin that offensive outburst, and he's been taken deep five times in his last three starts, stumbling to a 6.46 ERA and 1.63 WHIP over that stretch despite a 13:3 K:BB in 15.1 innings. Pivetta will try to keep the ball in the park in his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road next week in Miami. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:14 pm

    • Power surge continues Friday
Guerrero went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Friday's 16-5 loss to the Yankees.

Advice: His solo shot off Luke Weaver in the seventh inning wrapped up the scoring for the Blue Jays on the night and made the score 7-5, but the Toronto bullpen imploded late. Guerrero has multiple hits in five straight games and six of the last seven, batting .406 (13-for-32) over that latter stretch with four doubles, five homers, eight runs and 14 RBI. • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. with two hits, home run
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI against the Yankees on Friday.

Advice: Guerrero has played well of late despite trade rumors about him swirling. The homer was his seventh of June when he had just five all season entering the month. His hot streak has been relatively understated because of how horrible the Blue Jays have been as a team. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:38 pm
    • Nick Pivetta tagged for five runs by Padres
Nick Pivetta surrendered five runs in four-plus innings Friday in a loss to the Padres.

Advice: Pivetta pitched four scoreless innings, striking out four, before giving up four straight hits and a walk to begin the fifth. He was pulled at that point, and the Padres ended up scoring nine times in the frame. Pivetta has allowed 15 earned runs over 19 1/3 innings in his last four starts, taking his season ERA from 3.40 to 4.52. We would say he’s droppable in mixed leagues at this point, but since he faces the Marlins in Miami next time out, it’s probably worth giving him one more chance. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:22 pm

    • Swing test pushed back
Jung (wrist) will have his swing test pushed back to Saturday, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Advice: Jung was slated to swing a bat Friday, but he'll have that evaluation pushed back a day. He has been on the injured list since April 2 with a fractured right wrist, and his rehab program with Triple-A Round Rock was shut down due to tendon inflammation. Jung could be activated off the injured list soon if his swing test Saturday goes well, though he'll likely be eased back into the action with planned off days if he does return. • Will swing bat Friday
Jung (wrist) will attempt to swing a bat Friday, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.

Advice: Jung's return has been delayed due to inflammation in his surgically repaired right wrist, but he's ready to test things out swinging a bat after resting for a week and receiving a cortisone shot. The third baseman could be activated soon if things go well in the cage Friday, but when Jung does return he might be eased back into action by playing every other day or receiving one off day per series, according to Grant. Jung has been sidelined since early April. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:57 am

    • Goes deep again Thursday
Guerrero went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, a double, two total runs and two total RBI against the Yankees in a 9-2 win Thursday.

Advice: Guerrero both started and capped the scoring in the contest with an RBI double in the first inning and a solo homer in the sixth. The first baseman recorded his fourth straight multi-hit game, a span in which he's gone 9-for-19 with with three homers and 11 RBI. Guerrero has gone deep four times across his past six games after hitting just seven homers in his first 74 contests of the campaign. Rotowire.com Thursday, 11:50 pm
    • India stays red hot with two-hit game Thursday
Jonathan India went 2-for-4 with a run scored, a double and an RBI against the Cardinals on Thursday.

Advice: India started the game with a single and scored on Elly De La Cruz’s RBI triple. In the second inning, he had an RBI double to give the Reds a 2-0 lead. India is now on a nine-game hitting streak and he’s 17-for-33 (.515) in that stretch. In June, he’s 30-for-80 (.375) with 18 runs scored and 14 RBI in 24 games. India’s average is up to .272 on the season with a .771 OPS and 32 RBI.
