Carlos Ruiz was diagnosed with a Grade 2 strain of his right hamstring and is expected to miss 3-4 weeks.
Advice: Tough break for Ruiz, who had a late start to the season following his 25-game suspension. The injury will likely leave him on the shelf until mid-to-late June. He'll be placed on the disabled list Tuesday to make room for Tyler Cloyd on the roster. Erik Kratz and Humberto Quintero will fill in behind the late for now.
