Advice: Koehler scattered six hits while striking out three and walking one. The 26-year-old right-hander has allowed three runs or fewer in all three of his starts since joining the rotation earlier this month. He isn't going to get many wins with this lineup, but give him a try in NL-only formats.

Advice: Baker is only playing against left-handers, so manager Ron Washington made the switch back to David Murphy when the Mariners brought in a righty. Baker has been terrific at his job so far, hitting .354 with five homers in 48 at-bats. Still, his fantasy value is quite limited while he plays on average twice a week.

Advice: It was his only hit in five at-bats. Dietrich has held his own in his first taste of the majors, hitting .250 (12-for-48) with two homers, two doubles, six RBI, and a .724 OPS through 13 games. It's very possible Dietrich will force Donovan Solano into a utility role when he returns from the disabled list.

Advice: Keppinger sneaked it through the left side of the infield with the bases loaded to win it. The veteran infielder went 2-for-5 with two RBI on the night and is hitting .343 (11-for-32) over his last nine games. The recent hot streak has only pulled his batting average up to .210 for the year, but we expect it to continue to rise in the days ahead.

Advice: Josh Outman, Matt Belisle and Wilton Lopez finished the five-hit shutout in a 5-0. Chatwood is sporting a nifty 1.90 ERA in four starts since joining the rotation, so it looks like he'll last for a while. We still don't trust him, not with his subpar command and poor changeup.

Advice: Chatwood was making a spot start that allowed Colorado to give Juan Nicasio an extra day of rest. In his first start since April 29, Chatwood struck out four, walked four and gave up seven hits. Chatwood has a 2.55 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 12 strikeouts over three starts in the majors. He may just have forced his way into another turn in Colorado's rotation.

Advice: The Mariners had to know Saunders would give up more than his share of homers and hits after adding him to their rotation; the surprise is that he's already walked 22 batters in 57 2/3 innings. Last year, he walked a total of 39 in 174 2/3 innings. Saunders is at best a matchup guy in AL-only leagues. He'll be worth playing next week when he gets a road start in San Diego.

Advice: Saunders is 3-for-27 with 13 strikeouts and no walks in his last eight games. It's not going to get him taken out of Seattle's lineup, but it might get him knocked down from the top of the order, at least for a bit. He's a No. 6 or 7 hitter on a decent offense.

Advice: With some help from Jeff Nelson. Grimm intercepted an attempted 3-6-3 double-play relay in the second inning tonight while first baseman Mitch Moreland was still reaching for the ball. Nelson never realized that the pitcher, not the first baseman, caught the ball and gave the Rangers the out. It proved to be an especially big play when Brendan Ryan followed with a rare double. Were the call gotten right, it doesn't seem nearly so likely that Grimm would have pitched into the seventh inning tonight.

- John Danks was solid in his first start back from shoulder surgery Friday, giving up three runs in six-plus innings in a no-decision against the Marlins.(Rotoworld.com)
Advice: He reached the 90s a couple of times with his fastball, but mostly sat in the high 80s. Danks was pulled after giving up a leadoff double to Marcell Ozuna in the top of the seventh inning. Ozuna eventually came around to score on a sacrifice fly, which cost Danks a chance at the victory. Still, it was an encouraging outing for the southpaw, as he gave up just four hits and walked nine while striking out five. He has another favorable matchup next week against the Cubs, but most mixed league owners can afford to wait and see for now.

Advice: He'll make his season debut on Friday against the Marlins. Danks wound up posting a 3.18 during his four rehab starts, but he held a 15/13 K/BB ratio and his velocity isn't all the way back yet. Consider him only in AL-only formats for the time being.

Advice: White Sox manager Robin Ventura finally made the decision official on Wednesday night. Danks posted a 3.18 ERA during his four rehab starts, but he also had a 15/13 K/BB ratio and is still dealing with diminished velocity. Mixed leaguers should stay away for now.

Advice: If everything checks out with the left-hander early this week, he should be cleared to join the White Sox starting rotation on Friday night against the Marlins. Danks has been on the shelf all year and makes for a decent waiver stash right now in AL-only fantasy leagues. Since he's coming off shoulder surgery and still rebuilding his arm strength, it might not be wise to trust him right out of the gate in standard mixed formats. Even against Miami.

Advice: Carp finished the night 1-for-2 before being lifted for a pinch-hitter. His three-run blast off Justin Masterson opened the scoring in the second inning, and was more than enough offense for John Lackey in this one. He's thrived in a part-time role, hitting .286/.340/.653 with three homers and 11 RBI in his first 49 at-bats.

Advice: In his first real exposure to Major League pitching, Maldonado batted .266/.321/.408 in 256 plate appearances last season. Perhaps he's toting his struggles onto the field with his catcher's gear. Maldonado has been a run worse than average defensively this year, according to Baseball Reference.
