    • Clubs solo home run
Walker went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Sunday's 3-2 in over the Mariners.

Advice: Walker got things started with a solo blast off Logan Gilbert in the second inning to knot the game up at 1-1. He later doubled in the fourth but was left stranded. The 33-year-old slugger has notched at least a hit in five straight games while homering twice and racking up five RBI over that span. For the year, he's slashing .271/.383/.439 with five homers, 18 RBI, 21 runs and an 18:31 BB:K in 128 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 2:49 am
    • Perfect for fourth save
Romano earned the save Sunday against the Dodgers, striking out two over a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Romano converted on his fourth straight save attempt to start the campaign, pitching his second perfect inning in six appearances. After missing the first few weeks of the season with an elbow injury, Romano has shown no rust, owning a 3.18 ERA and a 0.88 WHIP through 5.2 frames. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:57 pm
    • Delivers game-winning run
Marte went 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Sunday's 3-2 win over Seattle.

Advice: Marte's two-out double in the eighth plated Kevin Newman with the winning run. It was the second consecutive game that Marte has hit out of the three-hole, as manager Torey Lovullo made recent changes to accommodate for Corbin Carroll's slow start. Marte had been the team's primary leadoff hitter. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:43 pm

    • Christian Walker goes deep as D’Backs top Mariners
Christian Walker went 2-for-4 and clubbed a solo home run on Sunday as the Diamondbacks topped the Mariners 3-2 in Seattle.

Advice: Walker delivered the equalizer for the Diamondbacks in the second inning of this one, blasting a 422-foot (104.8 mph EV) solo shot off of Logan Gilbert. He also added a two-out double off of Gilbert in the fourth inning but wound up stranded there. With the two-hit attack, the 33-year-old slugger is now hitting .271/.383/.439 with five homers and 18 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:15 pm
    • Maikel Garcia picks up hit in loss
Maikel Garcia went 1-for-4 with a double in loss to the Tigers.

Advice: It wasn’t a tremendous performance from Garcia, but the Royals had just four hits on the day. The double gave Garcia a hit in eight of his last 10 games to up his slash line to .223/.276/.384. If he was dropped after his cold stretch, you should be adding him because the 24-year-old remains a talented hitter who will play every day in Kansas City. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:46 pm

    • Romano locks down 4th save of the season
Jordan Romano pitched a scoreless ninth to preserve a 3-1 win over the Dodgers on Sunday.

Advice: Romano didn’t allow a baserunner while striking out two on the day. He now has four saves despite not even being active for two weeks. He does have a 3.18 ERA, but has looked every bit like the pitcher we’ve counted on to be among the AL leaders in saves over the last few seasons. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:37 pm
    • Christian Yelich (back) resumes swinging bat
Brewers manager Pat Murphy told reporters Sunday that Christian Yelich (back) has resumed swinging, but that his progress has “stalled.”

Advice: “I think within a week, we’ll be in a better spot,” Murphy told reporters. Yelich has been on the shelf since April 16 because of his lower back strain, and while it’s a positive development that he’s able to swing the stick, it’s less so to hear that he’s not making continued progress. The 32-year-old was expected to need just around a minimum stint on the injured list, but there’s a good chance that Yelich won’t return until the start of May at this point. • Slugs homer in loss
Soler went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Saturday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to the Pirates.

Advice: Soler's 10th-inning blast got the Giants within a run, but the comeback effort fell short. He went 0-for-12 with one walk and six strikeouts over the previous three games. Soler's power is at an acceptable level (five homers, .414 slugging percentage) through 28 games, but he's batting just .222 with a .736 OPS, well under his .250 average and .853 OPS from last season. • One steal, two RBI in loss
Garcia went 2-for-5 with two RBI, a stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Garcia struggled in the middle of April, but he's now logged four multi-hit efforts over his last five games. He's added three steals and five RBI in that span while continuing to sit atop the Royals' order. The third baseman is slashing .222/.277/.380 with four home runs, seven steals, 20 RBI and 13 runs scored over 27 contests this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:55 am
