    • Delivers game-winning hit
Siri went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI on Sunday against the Orioles.

Advice: Siri made his lone hit of the day count, as he delivered a two-RBI double in the eighth inning to account for the game-winning runs. He briefly lost playing time when Josh Lowe (oblique) was on the field, but Siri has now started eight of the Rays' last nine games and has gone 7-for-27 with seven RBI, four runs scored, two home runs and a stolen base in that span. • Productive weekend series
Diaz went 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI on Sunday against the Orioles.

Advice: Diaz had a strong weekend series thanks to some timely hits. Across the three games, he went just 3-for-11 but drove in four runs and also worked two free passes. Diaz has gone just 7-for-44 across his last 13 starts, though he's striking out at only a 10.6 percent clip in that span, meaning his numbers should start to tick back up. • Picks up sixth save
Fairbanks allowed one hit during one scoreless inning to pick up the save Sunday against the Orioles.

Advice: Fairbanks worked around a two-out single to pick up his sixth save. It was his third save since May 11, when he made his return from a stint on the IL. Over the three weeks since his return, he's appeared in 10 games and has yet to allow an earned run while allowing nine baserunners and striking out nine over 10 innings. • Luis Castillo dominates in victory over Angels
Luis Castillo delivered a dominant performance in Sunday afternoon’s victory over the Angels, allowing just two hits and three walks over seven shutout innings.

Advice: Castillo piled up six strikeouts in the impressive outing. The only real threat against him came in the fourth inning as the Angels used a pair of walks to put two men on with two outs for Jo Adell — who Castillo got to fly out harmlessly to center field. The 31-year-old hurler generated a staggering 21 swings and misses on 102 pitches in the contest — 13 of them on his fastball alone — while posting a strong CSW of 30 percent. Now 5-6 on the season, Castillo will carry a tidy 2.99 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and an 81/22 K/BB ratio (78 1/3 innings) into Saturday’s showdown against the Royals in Kansas City. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:40 pm
    • Twirls seven scoreless innings
Castillo (5-6) allowed two hits and three walks while striking out six over seven scoreless innings to earn the win over the Angels on Sunday.

Advice: Castillo's gone seven innings in three of his 13 starts this season, and he's kept runs off the board in the each of those outings. He allowed four runs in each of his first three starts of the season, but he hasn't given up more than three runs in any of his last 10 appearances, nine of which went down as quality starts. Castillo is at a strong 2.99 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 81:22 K:BB over 78.1 innings this season. He's projected to make his next start on the road in Kansas City. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:39 pm
    • Nico Hoerner has two hits in loss to Reds
Nico Hoerner went 2-for-5 with a run scored in a loss to the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Hoerner has been slowly increasing his batting average in recent weeks and is up to .262/.351/.366 on the season; however, he didn’t attempt a stolen base today and has just six on the season. After stealing 43 bases last year, it’s discouraging to see Hoerner not running as often. It could partially be a hamstring issue he’s been dealing with or a new philosophy under manager Craig Counsell, but since Hoerner doesn’t have much power, his fantasy value will take a big hit if he’s only a 25-stolen-base hitter who will hit .270-.280. If you need the steals, you should still keep Hoerner in your lineup, but if you’re OK on speed and somebody makes a compelling offer, he could be a player you’re OK parting with. • Pete Fairbanks picks up sixth save
Pete Fairbanks worked a scoreless ninth and earned a save Sunday against the Orioles.

Advice: Fairbanks has settled three saves in three weeks since coming off the IL last month, but he’s been exceptional. The only run he’s allowed in 10 appearances was an unearned one from the automatic runner scoring in extra innings. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:47 pm
    • Rehabbing in ACL
Perdomo (knee) started at shortstop and went 1-for-3 with a run scored in a rehab game for the Diamondbacks' rookie-level Arizona Complex League affiliate Saturday.

Advice: Perdomo, who played five innings in the field, made his second ACL appearance after getting four at-bats Friday as the designated hitter. The organization's plan calls for Perdomo to finish out the weekend in the ACL before moving on to a higher-level affiliate. A return from the 10-day injured list later in the week is a possibility. • Belts two homers in victory
Alvarez went 3-for-3 with two home runs, a walk and three total RBI in a 5-2 win against Minnesota on Saturday.

Advice: Alvarez kicked off the scoring for Houston with a two-run homer in the first inning and added a solo shot in the fifth. The pair of long balls matched his total over his previous 30 games combined. Alvarez has hit safely in 13 of his past 14 games and is batting .377 (20-for-53) during that stretch, though he had only two RBI during that span before Saturday. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:00 pm
