• Aaron Judge crushes 30th home run
Aaron Judge went 2-for-2 with a two-run homer and walk on Wednesday against the Mets.

Advice: Judge’s league-leading 30th long ball was the extent of the Yankees’ offense in this one. While the team is scuffling, Judge certainly hasn’t with nine home runs and 22 RBI in his last 15 games. Silly numbers from the most productive player in baseball. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:49 pm
  • X-rays on heel negative
X-rays on Sheets' left heel came back negative after he was removed early from Wednesday's loss to the Dodgers, Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com reports.

Advice: The White Sox are now labeling Sheets' injury as a bruise, and he's considered day-to-day. It's possible the team holds him out for a game or two as a precaution, but he shouldn't be in line for an extended absence. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:48 pm

  • Gavin Sheets (heel) considered day-to-day
Gavin Sheets is considered day-to-day after X-rays on his injured heel came back negative on Friday.

Advice: Sheets was pulled from Wednesday night’s battle against the Dodgers after jamming his left heel while rounding second base after his double. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the White Sox give him a day off on Thursday, but don’t expect the 28-year-old slugger to require any sort of extended absence. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:41 pm

  • Managing injured heel
Sheets was removed from Wednesday's game against the Dodgers due to a jammed left heel.

Advice: The severity of Sheets' injury remains unknown, but he is being further evaluated, and the White Sox should offer an update on his status in the near future. The 28-year-old has been heating up at the plate recently, going 8-for-22 in his last six games heading into Wednesday's contest. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:47 pm

  • Gavin Sheets leaves game with jammed left heel
Gavin Sheets was removed from Wednesday’s ballgame against the Dodgers due to a jammed left heel.

Advice: The severity of the injury — as well as how much time (if any) Sheets may miss — are not yet known. He’ll head for further evaluation and the White Sox should have an update on his status at some point before Thursday’s battle against the Braves. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:36 pm

  • Jake Bauers delivers grand slam in Brewers’ win
Jake Bauers hit a grand slam off Nathan Eovaldi as the Brewers edged the Rangers 6-5 in 10 innings Wednesday.

Advice: Midgame replacement Andruw Monasterio delivered the game-winning single in the bottom of the 10th. It was a little surprising to see Bauers start over Tyler Black today, but Pat Murphy seems to have made the right call. Bauers’ 444-foot slam was the first ever surrendered by Eovaldi. It was the second of his career, and his seventh homer in 192 plate appearances this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:18 pm

  • Starting against right-hander again
Taylor will start in right field and bat sixth in Wednesday's game against the Yankees, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The right-handed-hitting Taylor has started in both of the Mets' first two games in right field since Starling Marte (knee) landed on the 10-day injured list, even as the opposition has sent a righty to the bump both times. DJ Stewart will also be in the right-field mix while Marte is shelved, but Taylor looks to be the preferred option for now. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:25 pm
  • Regaining playing time
Bauers will start at first base and bat fifth in Wednesday's game against the Rangers.

Advice: Bauers will be included in the lineup for the second game in a row and for the third time in four games after producing three hits over his prior two starts. The 29-year-old is still getting on base at a lowly .279 clip for the season, so despite seeing his playing time trend upward of late, he's hardly locked into an everyday role for Milwaukee. • Rangers select Derek Hill’s contract from Triple-A
Rangers selected the contract of OF Derek Hill from Triple-A Round Rock.

Advice: Hill’s first stint with the Rangers ended prematurely earlier this month because the team wanted to add an infielder due to Corey Seager being banged up. He’ll get another look as a reserve outfielder now. The former first-round pick was hitting .350/.415/.631 with eight homers and seven steals in 42 games for Round Rock. He was 2-for-9 in 2 1/2 weeks with the Rangers before being dropped June 7. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:26 am
