  • Pasquantino drives in lone run for Royals in loss
    Vinnie Pasquantino went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Marlins.

    Advice: Pasquantino singled in the first inning to score Maikel Garcia from third after Garcia walked to kick off the inning and subsequently stole two bases. It would be the only run the Royals would score on the night as they found themselves in a pitching duel between Yonny Chirinos and Seth Lugo.   • Swipes two bases Tuesday
    Kreidler went 2-for-2 with a walk and a run scored in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Phillies. He also stole two bases.

    Advice: Kreidler stole the first two bases of his MLB career in the seventh inning, when he swiped second base then stole third a short while later. The 26-year-old has mostly been a bench player in the majors, so while this effort was promising, it looks to be an outlier. Zach McKinstry figures to get most of the playing time at shortstop in the near future with Javier Baez (back) still on the injured list, pushing Kreidler to a reserve role most days.     Mark Vientos went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs in a 9-7 win over the Yankees on Tuesday.

    Advice: Vientos’ power is legit and he now has nine home runs on the year and six in 19 games in June. Vientos is also hitting 19-for-69 (.275) in June while taking over the Mets’ starting third base role. With the Mets offense surging and Vientos showing a better approach to go along with his plus power, he should be added in all formats where he may still be available. Rotoworld 48 minutes ago

  • Nick Gordon scores game-winning run vs. Royals
    Nick Gordon went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Royals.

    Advice: Gordon’s RBI single in the seventh inning tied the game at 1-1, giving the Marlins life after being shut down by Seth Lugo for six innings. Gordon’s single paved the way for him to later score on an RBI single by Jazz Chisholm, which was enough for the Marlins to earn a surprise win over the Royals. Rotoworld 49 minutes ago

  • Harrison Bader has two hits, HR in win
    Harrison Bader went 2-for-4 with a home run, a steal, and two runs scored in a win over the Yankees on Tuesday.

    Advice: Bader’s home run was a 419-foot shot for his fifth of the season, and the stolen base was his 11th of the year. Bader has been playing regularly as the Mets’ starting center fielder and should continue to see regular at-bats with Starling Marte now out for at least a month.   • Aaron Judge hits grand slam in loss
    Aaron Judge went 2-for-3 with a walk and five RBI in a loss to the Mets on Tuesday.

    Advice: Judge had an RBI double in the seventh inning with the Yankees down by seven but then crushed a 390-foot grand slam at 109.4 mph that brought the Yankees within two. While the bottom of the Yankees lineup may not be particularly deep, they still have Aaron Judge, which will always make them a threat. The big right fielder now has 29 home runs and 75 RBI already this season, which seems like video game numbers. You’re feeling great if you were able to take him with your first-round pick.   • Ortiz homers to lift Brewers over Rangers
    Joey Ortiz went 1-for-4 with a home run in Tuesday’s win over the Rangers.

    Advice: Ortiz hit his seventh homer of the season into the left field stands to give the Brewers a 2-1 lead in the fifth. Ortiz has now hit safely in three of his last five games and is slashing .257/.373/.371 in June with four extra-base hits and eight RBI. Rotoworld 55 minutes ago

  • Josh Smith drives in lone run for Rangers in loss
    Josh Smith went 1-for-3 with an RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Brewers.

    Advice: Smith singled off Hoby Milner in the first inning to score Corey Seager from second, giving the Rangers an early 1-0 lead and their only run of the game. Smith was responsible for just one of five hits the Rangers had on the night, but the young third baseman has turned in a solid June, going 22-for-61 (.361) at the plate with eight extra-base hits and 10 RBI.     Bryan Reynolds went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in a 9-5 win over the Reds on Sunday.

    Advice: Reynolds homered off Hunter Greene in the first inning in an at-bat that started with Greene puking on the mound. Reynolds later crushed a 426-foot shot at 106.3 mph for his 13th home run of the season to go along with 46 RBI and a .280/.347/.475 slash line.
