    • Continuing rehab in Triple-A
Bradish (elbow) will make his next rehab start with Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Advice: Bradish made his first rehab appearance Tuesday with Double-A Bowie. He threw 44 pitches and allowed just one hit over three scoreless innings while striking out four. Bradish will now move up to Triple-A Norfolk, as the right-hander continues his rehab from a partial UCL tear that kept him from pitching in spring training. Rotowire.com Today, 2:38 pm

    • Kyle Bradish to make second rehab start soon
Kyle Bradish (elbow) is expected to make his second minor league rehab start at Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday.

Advice: The right-hander looked sharp in his first rehab outing on Tuesday — throwing 26 of his 44 pitches for strikes and sitting in the 94-95 mph range with his fastball. He’s expected to need at least three starts before he’s ready to join the Orioles’ rotation. Rotoworld Today, 2:36 pm

    • Receives breather Friday
Greene is out of the lineup for Friday's game at Minnesota, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Advice: Greene started Detroit's first 19 games of the season but will receive a well-deserved day off for the series opener versus the Twins. Wenceel Perez will take over in right field and bat second. Rotowire.com Today, 2:27 pm

    • Riley Greene absent from Tigers lineup on Friday
Riley Greene is absent from the Tigers’ starting lineup for Friday night’s showdown against the Twins.

Advice: It’s a rare night off for the 23-year-old outfielder, who started each of the team’s first 19 ballgames. Wenceel Perez will start in his place in right field and will bat second for the Tigers against right-hander Joe Ryan and the Twins. Rotoworld Today, 1:56 pm

    • Tallies two extra-base hits
Greene went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, a triple, an RBI and two runs scored in Thursday's 9-7 loss to the Rangers.

Advice: While Greene's batting average is still a bit underwhelming at .239, his .849 OPS is stronger due to eight extra-base knocks through 19 games. In fact, exactly half of the outfielder's hits have gone for extra bases so far. Greene is heating up, and with his ability to leg out doubles or hit the ball over the wall, he should be primed for good numbers the rest of the way. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:56 pm

    • Gabriel Moreno returns to lineup on Thursday
Gabriel Moreno (thumb) has returned to the lineup for Thursday’s series opener against the Giants.

Advice: Moreno returns to Arizona’s lineup for Thursday’s series opener following a brief two-game absence due to a right thumb contusion that he suffered earlier this week when he attempted to block a wild pitch with his bare hand. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:51 pm
    • In Thursday's lineup
Moreno (thumb) will start at catcher and bat sixth in Thursday's game against the Giants.

Advice: Moreno hadn't started either of the Diamondbacks' previous two games due to a bruised right thumb, but he had been included in the initial lineup Wednesday before being scratched. He ended up appearing as a pinch hitter in Wednesday's 5-3 loss to the Cubs, and he now looks like he'll be ready to not only hit but also play defense in Thursday's series opener. • Mike Trout steals two bases in loss to Rays
Mike Trout went 0-for-3 with a run scored while stealing two bases in a 2-1 loss to the Rays on Thursday.

Advice: Both steals came in the sixth inning. It’s the first multi-steal game for Trout since May 20, 2018 and it’s a flashback to when the 32-year-old was one of the best producers of thefts in the sport. With that pair of swipes he’s up to five on the season, and it’s possible — but far from a guarantee — that Trout is going to be much more active on the bases than he has over the past few seasons. On top of those steals, Trout is now slashing .257/.357/.662 over the first 19 games of 2024. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:37 pm

    • Picks up third steal
Cowser went 1-for-3 with a stolen base in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Twins.

Advice: Cowser's power has come back down with no home runs over his last three games, but he's still hitting well, going 3-for-11 in that span. The outfielder is slashing .400/.429/.800 with four homers, three steals, 15 RBI, eight runs scored and six doubles over 49 plate appearances. Cowser's continued success will likely mean that Austin Hays remains in a bench role, though manager Brandon Hyde has had no trouble resting his other outfielders to keep Cowser in the lineup so far.
