    • Successful bullpen session
Pepiot (leg) threw a three-inning bullpen session ahead of Friday's game against the Blue Jays, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Pepiot continues to make progress toward a return, as he's now thrown three successful bullpen sessions. His activation could come as soon as the Rays' upcoming series against the Red Sox, though no final decision has been reached. Rotowire.com Today, 12:06 am

    • Racks up three more hits
Gimenez went 3-for-5 with two RBI and one run scored in Saturday's 11-4 win over the Twins.

Advice: That's five multi-hit efforts in a row for Gimenez, and Saturday saw the second baseman earn his second three-hit game of the season. While he's making steady contact lately, he has just two extra-base hits over his last six contests. Gimenez is slashing .276/.333/.371 with two home runs, seven stolen bases, 25 RBI, 24 runs scored, eight doubles and a triple of 190 plate appearances as the Guardians' usual No. 2 hitter. • Strikes out 10 in win
Lugo (7-1) earned the win Saturday over the Athletics, allowing two runs on six hits and a walk while striking out 10 over 5.2 innings.

Advice: Lugo was able to limit the damage to a two-run home run by Seth Brown in the second inning. This was Lugo's second straight start with double-digit strikeouts, though he came up one out short of a fifth straight quality start. The right-hander is now at a 1.79 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 58:13 K:BB through 65.1 innings over 10 starts this season. He's projected to make his next start on the road against the Rays. • Perez drives in two on Saturday
Salvador Perez went 1-for-4 with two RBI against the Athletics on Saturday.

Advice: Perez had a two-run single in the first inning that opened the scoring. The 34-year-old backstop has been great this year as he’s hitting .333 with a .949 OPS. His walk percentage is nearly double what it usually is at 7.8 percent and his strikeout percentage of 15 percent would be his lowest since 2015. Still, we can’t expect Perez to keep up this average as his .368 BABIP is 77 points higher than his career .291 BABIP.

    • Lugo strikes out 10, picks up seventh win Saturday
Seth Lugo allowed two earned runs and struck out 10 in 5 2/3 innings and picked up the win in the Royals’ 5-3 victory over the Athletics on Saturday.

Advice: The win was Lugo’s seventh of the season and his ERA is 1.79. His 58 strikeouts are in the top 15 for qualified starters. The Royals can’t ask for more than what they’re getting from him right now and the same goes for fantasy managers. The 34-year-old right-hander is scheduled to face the Rays on the road next weekend.

    • Big homer off Diaz in comeback win
Bell went 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBI in Saturday's 10-9 victory over the Mets.

Advice: Bell had two singles -- including one that drove in a run -- when he strolled to the plate in the bottom of the ninth inning to face Edwin Diaz as the tying run. He then swatted one 428 feet for a three-run home run to knot things up before the Marlins eventually won in the 10th. Bell's home run -- which was his sixth of the season -- was measured at 107.9 mph off the bat. The first baseman is 10-for-25 with two long balls over his last six games. • Bell drives in four on Saturday
Josh Bell went 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBI against the Mets on Saturday.

Advice: Bell blasted a game-tying three run home run in the ninth inning off the Mets’ Edwin Diaz. It was his sixth home run of the season. It was a good game, but Bell isn’t having a good season. Even with the home run, his .137 ISO is the lowest of his career. His average is .229, but that should pick up a bit as his BABIP is .258 this year compared to his career .286 BABIP. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:37 pm

    • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. collects three hits Saturday
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 3-for-4 with a double, a run scored, and an RBI against the Rays on Saturday.

Advice: Guerrero Jr. doubled to lead off the fourth inning against Zach Eflin and came around to score on a single by George Springer. He added a run to the board for Toronto with an RBI-single in the fifth and led off the bottom of the eighth with his third hit of the day. The 25-year-old first baseman is hitting .280/.373/.393 with four homers and 20 RBI across 193 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:59 pm
    • Return delayed multiple weeks
Jung (wrist) still appears to be at least six weeks from returning to the lineup, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Advice: Jung has yet to pick up a bat after undergoing surgery on his right wrist April 2 and is expected to be reevaluated in another 10-to-14 days before being cleared to start taking swings. The initial timeline for his return was 6-to-8 weeks, which was later adjusted to 10-to-12 weeks, and he now appears to be tracking toward the latter end of that estimation, if not later. The repair of his fractured wrist proved to be trickier than initially anticipated, and Texas will likely be cautious in its approach with the budding star at third base, so fantasy managers shouldn't expect him back until late June or early July.
