    • Kodai Senga shut down after latest setback
Kodai Senga (shoulder) will be shut down for the next three-to-five days due to inflammation in his triceps.

Advice: The 31-year-old right-hander had been scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Friday, but that was scrapped due to the new issue. It has seemingly been one setback after another for Senga as he has attempted to come back from his shoulder injury. There’s no clear timetable as to when he may finally ready to make his 2024 season debut. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:10 pm

    • Beginning rehab assignment
Lewis (quadriceps) had a successful workout Friday and will report to Triple-A St. Paul on Saturday to begin a rehab assignment, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Lewis has been sidelined since he suffered a right quadriceps strain Opening Day, but he's now in the final stages of his rehab program. The 24-year-old will likely need at least a handful of games in the minors before rejoining the Twins. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:08 pm

    • Could return in early June
Robert (hip) could rejoin the White Sox early in June following a full week of rehab games with Triple-A Charlotte, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Advice: Robert has played one rehab game with the Arizona Complex League White Sox, homering in that contest. He's slated to join Charlotte on Tuesday to continue ramping things up, and it sounds like he could be activated by the White Sox as soon as June 4 against the Cubs. Robert has been sidelined since early April with a Grade 2 right hip flexor strain. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:37 am

    • Dominant in win
Gausman (3-3) picked up the win over the Tigers on Thursday, allowing one run on three hits and two walks while striking out 10 over six innings.

Advice: Gausman had his best stuff of the year Thursday, striking out a season-high 10 batters while not allowing a hit until the sixth inning when Javier Baez tagged him for a leadoff single. The right-hander induced 18 whiffs on the night and struck out at least two batters in three different innings. He's now won his last three decisions (spanning five starts) and has given up one run or fewer in five of his last seven outings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:10 am
    • Notches 10th steal
Doyle went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI, a stolen base and one run scored in Thursday's 10-9 extra-innings loss to the Athletics.

Advice: Doyle went 6-for-30 (.200) with no multi-hit efforts over his previous nine games. In that span, he also had four steals and a 9:12 BB:K as he continues to get on base at a healthy clip despite a 28.6 percent strikeout rate for the year. The outfielder is slashing .273/.339/.442 with five home runs, 10 steals, 10 doubles, 15 RBI and 30 runs scored over 47 contests this season. Rotowire.com Thursday, 7:40 pm

    • Records third steal
Albies went 1-for-3 with a walk, one RBI and a stolen base in Thursday's 3-0 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Albies is hitting well, going 11-for-40 (.275) over his last 10 games, though he has just one extra-base hit, a double, in that span. The second baseman is slashing .269/.330/.388 with three home runs, three steals, 23 RBI, 22 runs scored and 10 doubles over 39 contests on the year. He's locked into a starting role, but the lack of counting stats is a small concern for a player that has hit 20-plus homers four times in the last six years. Rotowire.com Thursday, 6:40 pm

    • Gausman strikes out 10 in win Thursday
Kevin Gausman allowed one run and struck out 10 in six innings and picked up the win in the Blue Jays’ 9-1 victory over the Tigers on Thursday.

Advice: Gausman’s 10 strikeouts were a season-high. The win was his third in 10 starts this season. He allowed just three hits and two walks against the hapless Tigers offense. The 33-year-old right-hander is set to face the White Sox on the road next week. Rotoworld Thursday, 6:20 pm
    • Doyle knocks in two, steals base in loss Thursday
Brenton Doyle went 2-for-5 with a double, a run scored, two RBI and a stolen base against the Athletics on Thursday.

Advice: Doyle had an RBI double in the first inning to give the Rockies a 2-0 lead. He added an RBI single in the 11th inning to make it 7-5 Rockies. The stolen base was Doyle’s 10th of the season. He’s up to .273 with a .781 OPS on the season. Rotoworld Thursday, 4:06 pm

    • Luis Robert (hip) heading to Triple-A on Tuesday
Luis Robert (hip) will start a minor league rehab assignment on Tuesday with Triple-A Charlotte.

Advice: Finally some good news for Chicago as their star outfielder will wrap up play in Arizona this week before heading out to face some higher minor-league competition next week. There isn’t an exact timetable for Robert to return, but he figures to rejoin the White Sox’ struggling lineup at some point in early June. Rotoworld Thursday, 3:05 pm
