• Two homers, six RBI in win
Bohm went 2-for-4 with a pair of three-run homers in Friday's 7-0 victory over the White Sox.

Advice: Bohm drove in six of the Phillies' seven runs Friday, launching three-run homers off Garrett Crochet in the first and third innings. It was quite a performance from the 27-year-old Bohm, who came into the day with just one homer on the year while going 3-for-17 in his previous six contests. Bohm's now slashing .258/.364/.470 through 77 plate appearances this season with 17 RBI, seven runs scored and a stolen base. Rotowire.com Today, 8:03 pm

  • Vinnie Pasquantino homers as Royals top Orioles
Vinnie Pasquantino swatted a solo homer and scored three runs in a victory for the Royals on Friday over the Orioles.

Advice: Pasquantino got the Royals on the board with a solo blast off Dean Kremer in the fourth inning. The 26-year-old also drew a walk, and the homer/free pass help improve his OPS to .900 over 64 at-bats. Pasquantino may never come close to matching the .295 average he put up as a rookie, but he won’t have to in order to be a strong fantasy option at first base. Rotoworld Today, 7:31 pm
  • Alec Bohm hits two three-run homers in victory
Alec Bohm hit a pair of three-run homers Friday against the White Sox.

Advice: That’s a great night, but his pitcher overshadowed him with a no-hit bid and then Travis d’Arnaud had to go and hit three homers (at least). Both of Bohm’s homers came off Garrett Crochet. The first was a 353-foot shot that Statcast says would have been out of two ballparks, but it doesn’t count for any less. Maybe it’s time for the Phillies to go back to Bohm in the cleanup spot; he currently has 160 points of OPS on JT Realmuto, who is batting one spot ahead of him. Rotoworld Today, 6:34 pm

  • Gio Urshela leaves game with hamstring tightness
Gio Urshela was pulled from Friday night’s battle against the Twins due to right hamstring tightness.

Advice: Urshela sustained the injury while trying to hustle out a ground ball in the second inning. The severity of the injury is not yet clear, and the 32-year-old infielder will likely undergo additional testing on Saturday. If he’s forced to miss any time, the Tigers may be forced to call up Buddy Kennedy from Triple-A to provide depth for the remainder of their weekend series against the Twins. Rotoworld Today, 6:33 pm

  • Exits with hamstring injury
Urshela was removed from Friday's game against the Twins due to right hamstring tightness.

Advice: Urshela appeared to be limping toward the dugout after grounding out in the second inning, and he was replaced at third base by Matt Vierling once the Tigers took the field. The severity of Urshela's injury remains unknown, but Zach McKinstry would likely benefit from additional playing time should the 32-year-old have to miss a few games. Rotowire.com Today, 5:46 pm

  • Gio Urshela exits game with apparent injury Friday
Gio Urshela was removed from Friday’s game against the Twins in the second inning due to an apparent injury.

Advice: The 32-year-old infielder appeared to suffer some sort of leg-related injury as he was running to first base on his groundout in the second inning. He was replaced defensively by Matt Vierling to start the home half of the second inning. Expect the Tigers to provide an update on his status as soon as one becomes available. • Resting versus lefty
Wade isn't in the Giants' lineup Friday versus the Diamondbacks, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Wade will take a seat Friday as southpaw Jordan Montgomery prepares to make his first start of the season for Arizona. Wilmer Flores will take over at first base and bat second. Rotowire.com Today, 3:53 pm
  • Back in lineup Friday
Cronenworth (calf) is starting at first base and hitting third in the lineup for Friday's game against the Blue Jays, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Advice: Cronenworth left Monday's game against the Brewers after experiencing calf tightness. He sat out for the Padres' last two games, and the team's day off Thursday has given the 30-year-old enough time to heal up. Cronenworth is slashing .254/.333/.465 with three home runs and 14 RBI over 81 plate appearances to start the season. Rotowire.com Today, 3:28 pm

  • Takes swings Friday
Carpenter (oblique) took swings during batting practice Friday, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Advice: Carpenter began taking infield practice last weekend, and Friday marks the first time the 38-year-old veteran has participated in batting practice. He remains without an official timetable, but he could head to the minors for a rehab assignment relatively soon if he's able to continue swinging without any issues. Rotowire.com Today, 3:25 pm
