    • Provides early lift
Marte went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday's 5-0 win over Washington.

Advice: Marte got it started early with a two-run home run in the first inning. He later plated a run on a sacrifice fly. While he's had a good season to date -- one that's generating All-Star buzz from Arizona Sports -- Marte can be even more productive if Corbin Carroll's bat stays hot ahead of him in the lineup. Carroll's batting .340 over the last 12 games, and Marte has driven in 10 runs during that stretch. For the season, Marte has an .863 OPS, 15 home runs, 42 RBI, three steals and 50 runs scored. • Walker Buehler (ineffective) could land on IL
The Dodgers are considering stashing Walker Buehler on the injured list after his poor performance at Coors Field against the Rockies on Tuesday.

Advice: It appears this was being discussed even before Buehler gave up seven runs to Colorado, and now the Dodgers have a perfect excuse after Buehler was hit in the hip by a comebacker tonight. Buehler has a 5.84 ERA in eight starts since returning from Tommy John surgery, and the Dodgers are about to get Bobby Miller back from the IL, though he’ll be going into Yoshinobu Yamamoto’s slot. Landon Knack might be the choice to replace Buehler. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:31 pm

    • Dominant in fifth straight win
Lodolo (8-2) earned the win Tuesday over the Pirates, allowing a run on four hits over seven innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: A Ke'Bryan Hayes homer in the seventh inning was the lone mark against Lodolo on Tuesday as he earned his fifth straight win -- the left-hander hasn't allowed more than two runs in a start during that span. Overall, Lodolo's ERA is down to 2.76 on the year with a 1.01 WHIP and 70:15 K:BB across 65.1 innings. He'll look to extend his winning streak to six in his next outing, currently scheduled as a home rematch with the Pirates early next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:07 pm
    • Surrenders seven runs
Buehler allowed seven runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out two over four innings in a no-decision versus the Rockies on Tuesday.

Advice: Buehler has struggled at times this season since he returned from Tommy John surgery, and a trip to Coors Field did him no favors for getting on track. He's struck out three or fewer batters in each of his last three starts, and this was the third time this season he's given up multiple home runs in an outing. Buehler is at a 5.84 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 31:10 K:BB with 10 homers allowed over 37 innings across eight starts. He's projected to make his next start on the road versus the White Sox, though Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports that Buehler took a comebacker off the hip in Tuesday's game, which has generated some concern from manager Dave Roberts. Roberts added that Buehler may require a stint on the injured list, stretching thin a rotation that's also missing Yoshinobu Yamamoto (shoulder), though Bobby Miller (shoulder) will be back Wednesday. • Four hits in walk-off win
Castellanos went 4-for-5 with a pair of doubles, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Padres.

Advice: Castellanos capped Philadelphia's comeback victory in the bottom of the ninth inning, poking a ground-rule double down the right-field line, his second double and fourth hit of the game, to drive in Alec Bohm as the winning run. Castellanos is now 6-for-9 with four doubles in his last two games after going 0-for-14 in his previous three contests. Overall, he's slashing .219/.275/.371 on the year with nine homers, 31 RBI and 37 runs scored across 306 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:41 pm
    • Walker Buehler gives up seven runs to Rockies
Walker Buehler surrendered seven runs in four innings Tuesday in a no-decision against the Rockies.

Advice: Sigh. Buehler’s velocity tonight was his worst since his rejoined the roster, and he got just three missed swings in his 70 pitches. That he was hit in the hip by a comebacker might have played some role in his struggles. We wouldn’t go dropping Buehler, who is still in a terrific situation with the Dodgers, but his early results in his first six weeks back from Tommy John definitely haven’t been as encouraging as hoped. He’s surrendered 10 homers and posted a 5.84 ERA in 37 innings. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:20 pm

    • Castellanos has big game-winning hit
Nick Castellanos went 4-for-5 with a game-winning double in a 4-3 win over the Padres on Tuesday.

Advice: Castellanos came to the plate in a tie game in the ninth inning and blooped in a 78 mph double just beyond a sliding Fernando Tatis Jr. in right field. It was a much-needed big game for the veteran, who was hitting .203 in 14 games in June and is now hitting just .219 overall on the season. Castellanos is making more contact and striking out less this season, but he’s making less authoritative contact and really struggling to hit anything other than fastballs with a .134 AVG and .208 wOBA against off-speed pitches. He’ll continue to play regularly and hit in the middle of the Phillies’ lineup, but there aren’t many signs of a full-on bounceback here. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:54 pm
    • Nick Lodolo tremendous in win over PIT
Nick Lodolo allowed one run on four hits in seven innings in a win over the Pirates on Tuesday.

Advice: The left-hander struck out eight and didn’t walk a single batter on the day. He got 18 whiffs on 50 swings for a 36 percent whiff rate and 32 percent CSW on the day. He did a good job keeping his fastball upstairs and the curve low in the zone, which led to a 57 percent whiff rate on the curve alone. Lodolo has always showcased high upside but injuries have gotten in his way; yet, he now has a 2.76 ERA on the year with a good start against these same Pirates next week. • Ketel Marte homers, drives in three vs. Nationals
Ketel Marte went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Nationals.

Advice: Marte hit a 434-foot shot off Jake Irvin in the top of the first to give the Diamondbacks an early 2-0 lead. It was Marte’s 15 homer of the season and marks his third-straight game with an RBI. He would later bring home Corbin Carroll on a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning. The veteran second baseman has bounced back nicely from a down May in which he hit .216 and is now slashing .360/.468/.640 in the month of June with five home runs and 13 RBI.
