    • On track for activation Monday
Conforto (hamstring) is likely to be activated from the 10-day injured list prior to Monday's game in Arizona, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: Conforto got into two rehab games with Triple-A Sacramento on Friday and Saturday, going 1-for-5 with one walk and one strikeout. He was set to be re-evaluated by the team after that and, as long as he feels fine, is expected back in the lineup Monday. Conforto has missed a little more than three weeks of action with a right hamstring strain. Rotowire.com 28 minutes ago
    • Sent back to minors
The Mariners optioned Clase to Triple-A Tacoma on Monday.

Advice: Clase's most recent stint in the big leagues lasted 10 days, but he made just three starts over that span and hadn't received a plate appearance in nearly a week. The 22-year-old will go back to receiving regular reps at Tacoma. Rotowire.com 42 minutes ago
    • Outfield possible after Turner back
Phillies manager Rob Thomson said Saturday that Sosa playing the outfield after Trea Turner (hamstring) returns is "absolutely" a possibility, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Advice: Sosa has a total of just 5.1 innings of outfield experience and has never started a game in the outfield in pro ball. He's been outstanding at shortstop since Turner got hurt, slashing .310/.380/.606 with three home runs in 22 games, which has the Phillies contemplating other ways of keeping him in the lineup long term. The Phillies could have an opening in left field if Brandon Marsh (hamstring) needs to miss time, but Sosa will still be needed at shortstop until Turner is back. Rotowire.com 47 minutes ago

    • Mariners option Jonatan Clase to Triple-A Tacoma
Mariners optioned OF Jonatan Clase to Triple-A Tacoma.

Advice: The 22-year-old continues to struggle in his chances with the big league club — hitting just .176/.200/.206 with no homers, three RBI, two swipes and a 13/1 K/BB ratio in 35 plate appearances with the Mariners. He’ll return to an everyday role at Triple-A Tacoma for the time being. Rotoworld 48 minutes ago
    • Recovering from minor setback
Turner (hamstring) had a minor setback when he felt some leg soreness following a high-intensity workout on May 25, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Turner resumed workouts this past weekend, doing some light jogging and change-of-direction running in addition to fielding grounders and hitting in the cage. There is no timetable for when he will run the bases, and he will need to do that as well as sliding drills before he's cleared for a rehab assignment. Turner is not expected to travel with the Phillies for their series in London against the Mets later this week. After he had seemingly be trending toward an earlier-than-expected return, Turner now looks to be at least a couple weeks away. Rotowire.com Today, 9:45 am

    • Nolan Jones (back) starts rehab assignment
Nolan Jones (back, knee) began a minor league rehab assignment at Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.

Advice: The dynamic 26-year-old outfielder went 0-for-2 with a walk and was hit by a pitch in the contest. He should only need a few games to get his timing back before becoming an option to rejoin the Rockies’ lineup. Prior to landing on the injured list, Jones had struggled to a .170/.243/.277 slash line through his first 26 games with only one home run, seven RBI and a pair of stolen bases. • Back in action
Jones (knee) began a new rehab assignment with Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Jones originally landed on the injured list April 30 with a back issue, but he then injured his knee during his original rehab assignment. It's now the latter issue that is keeping him sidelined, though he played with Albuquerque on Sunday and went 0-for-2 with a walk while also being hit with a pitch and serving as the designated hitter. • Starting series opener Monday
Eovaldi will start Monday's game against the Tigers at Globe Life Field.

Advice: Eovaldi returned from the 15-day injured list last Tuesday and took back his spot in the Texas rotation, but he covered just three innings and tossed 37 pitches in the Rangers' 4-2 win over the Diamondbacks. Because Eovaldi didn't go on a minor-league rehab assignment prior to being activated, the Rangers deliberately limited his workload in what was his first start since May 2. Eovaldi didn't report any renewed discomfort with his right groin coming out of the outing against the Diamondbacks, so he should be in store for a more typical starter's workload Monday. • Activated and optioned
The Cubs reinstated Palencia (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list and optioned him to Triple-A Iowa on Monday, Maddie Lee of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Advice: Palencia will stick around with Iowa after he made six rehab appearances with the affiliate while he was on the shelf with a right shoulder strain. Though Palencia struck out eight over 4.2 scoreless innings across the last four appearances, the Cubs didn't have room for the right-hander in the bullpen. Palencia should rank high on the list for a call-up the next time the Cubs require an extra relief arm. Rotowire.com Today, 9:11 am
