      Senga (shoulder/triceps) is expected to make another rehab start with Triple-A Syracuse this weekend, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

      Advice: After building up to 4.2 innings and 67 pitches in his most recent rehab outing with Syracuse this past Sunday, Senga looked like he might have had a chance at making his next start with the big club, but the Mets will instead send him out for one more tune-up appearance in the minors. Assuming Senga is able to build on his pitch count and experiences no setbacks during his upcoming minor-league outing, he could return from the 60-day injured list to make his 2024 Mets debut during the club's home series with Atlanta that begins July 25. Senga was placed on the IL coming out of spring training with a strained right shoulder, then battled triceps inflammation during the rehab process that ended up setting him back further.       Aaron Judge will bat cleanup for the American League in Tuesday’s All-Star Game.

      Advice: It seems Bruce Bochy disagrees with Aaron Boone in using Judge as a No. 2 hitter. He has Judge batting behind Steven Kwan, Gunnar Henderson and Juan Soto on Tuesday, so unless someone gets on base, we’ll miss out on a Paul Skenes-Judge matchup.       Advice: Gimenez went 18 games without a steal, though his chances were a bit limited since he got on base at a .275 clip in that span. The second baseman is still seeing most of the playing time at the keystone, though he's regularly batted sixth for nearly three weeks after often hitting second.       Williams (back) struck out all three batters he faced in a perfect inning during his rehab appearance Sunday with High-A Wisconsin.

      Advice: Williams has been on the shelf all season while recovering from a pair of stress fractures in his back, but he didn't exhibit any signs of rust in his first game action of 2024. He needed just 14 pitches to strike out the side and generated four swings-and-misses during his brief time on the mound. The Brewers may have Williams shift his rehab assignment to Double-A Biloxi or Triple-A Nashville for a tougher test following the All-Star break, but the right-hander may not require too many more tune-up outings in the minors if he continues to look as sharp as he did Sunday.       Duran (5-4) allowed an unearned run on one hit without retiring a batter to take the loss Sunday versus the Giants.

      Advice: Duran gave up a triple to Mike Yastrzemski to lead off the bottom of the ninth inning, and it turned into a run after Brooks Lee's relay throw ended up in the dugout. It's a tough way for Duran to take a loss, which also ended his 7.2-inning scoreless streak, but it won't hurt his ERA, which remains at 2.93 to go with a 0.98 WHIP and 29:10 K:BB through 30.2 innings. Since Duran was pitching in a tied game before giving up the run, he also will avoid taking his second blown save of the year, and his status as the Twins' primary closer is not in question.       Senga (shoulder) struck out three while allowing one earned run on two hits and two walks over 4.2 innings in his rehab start Sunday with Triple-A Syracuse.

      Advice: Senga tossed 67 pitches (41 strikes) in his third rehab outing, and he's now compiled an 0.90 ERA, 0.80 WHIP and 12:4 K:BB in 10 innings between Syracuse and High-A Brooklyn. According to Anthony DiComo of MLB.com, Mets manager Carlos Mendoza has said that club officials will determine the next steps for Senga over the All-Star break. Based on how he's fared during his rehab assignment, Senga looks ready to return from the 60-day injured list, but the Mets may still want him to build up to the 75-to-80 pitch range in another rehab start before he rejoins the big-league rotation.       Jhoan Duran took a loss after giving up a triple to the only batter he faced Sunday against the ninth.

      Advice: Opening the bottom of the ninth in a tie game, Duran gave up a well-placed 88.8 mph flyball to the right-center gap.       Turang went 1-for-5 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 9-3 win over the Nationals.

      Advice: Turang has struggled at the plate in July, going 9-for-48 (.188) over his first 13 games this month. That's also put a damper on his best attribute, his speed, as he's been able to log just two steals on three attempts in that span. Turang has 30 thefts on 35 attempts this year -- good for second in the majors behind only the Reds' Elly De La Cruz -- while adding six home runs, 38 RBI, 45 runs scored and a .277/.341/.390 slash line through 93 contests.
