      Advice: Paredes took Michael Wacha deep in the opening frame for an early 1-0 lead. He and Amed Rosario were the only Rays to get on base multiple times in the game as Paredes drew multiple walks for the first time since May 17. He's now racked up five extra-base hits, reached base a total of eight times and driven in four runs over his last three games. Paredes is enjoying another productive campaign after breaking out last year, slashing .276/.365/.481 with 14 homers, 46 RBI, 33 runs and a 35:57 BB:K in 342 plate appearances in 2024.       Freeman went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer and two walks in Wednesday's loss to the Diamondbacks.

      Advice: Freeman put the Dodgers ahead with a three-run blast in the bottom of the first and proceeded to reach base four times in the contest in a losing effort. It was the first baseman's 13th long ball of the season and the fourth in his last 15 games. Over that latter stretch he's batting .327 (18-for-55) with 14 RBI and 10 runs scored.       Freddie Freeman went 2-for-2 with a three-run homer and two walks against the Diamondbacks on Wednesday.

      Advice: Freeman put the Dodgers on the board with a three-run blast off Cristian Mena in the first inning. He then drew a pair of walks and added a base hit in the eighth to reach in all four plate appearances.     • Isaac Paredes clobbers first inning homer
      Isaac Paredes went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and two walks on Wednesday against the Royals.

      Advice: Paredes started this game by smashing a changeup from Michael Wacha beyond the left field fence. Shockingly he pulled yet another home run right next to the left field foul pole.       Nolan Jones went 2-for-4 with an RBI double and a walk versus the Brewers on Monday.

      Advice: The second hit also would have been at least a double, but it hit first base umpire Brian O’Nora on its way down the first base line, resulting in a single. Jones has had issues with strikeouts since coming off the IL last month, but he’s hitting the ball harder than he did in April and drawing a bunch of walks (12 in 15 games).     • Finishes single short of cycle
      Paredes went 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple, a double and an additional run scored Sunday against the Nationals.

      Advice: Paredes entered the day with just two hits over his last 23 at-bats but broke out of it in a big way with his first three-hit game since May 21. He did all his damage off Nationals starter Patrick Corbin, going 3-for-3 against the lefty. Despite the recent slump, Paredes maintains a healthy .276/.361/.472 slash line on the season with 13 home runs, 43 RBI, 32 runs and 32 walks over 328 plate appearances.       Jones went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run Saturday against the White Sox.

      Advice: Jones entered Saturday's game having collected just one hit across his last 15 at-bats. He ended that short slump with a two-run homer in the fifth inning, his second long ball since returning from the injured list June 14.       Nolan Jones went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer against the White Sox on Saturday.

      Advice: It’s been a tough season for Jones on the heels of last year’s unexpected breakthrough campaign, but he’s starting to show some signs of life recently, hitting .279 (12-for-43) with one homer and one steal over his last 15 games.
