      Advice: Clase coughed up an out-of-character run on a Michael Conforto groundout. Clase was still able to close out the 5-4 win and pick up his 27th save of the year. He's given up just four earned runs through 42.1 innings this season, resulting in a 0.85 ERA. Sunday's outing snapped a nine-inning scoreless streak.     • Jose Berrios punches out 10 in no-decision
      Jose Berrios piled up 10 strikeouts over six innings of four-run baseball in a no-decision against the Blue Jays on Sunday afternoon in Seattle.

      Advice: Overall, Berrios scattered seven hits on the afternoon while issuing one base on balls. All of the damage done against him came via the long ball, with Victor Robles launching a solo homer in the third inning and Mitch Garver crushing a three-run shot in the fifth. Berrios got 13 whiffs on 98 pitches in the ballgame, posting a CSW of 31 percent. He now holds a 3.76 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and an 87/29 K/BB ratio over 115 innings through his first 19 starts on the season.       Eovaldi (6-3) earned the win Sunday over the Rays, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out five without walking a batter over seven innings.

      Advice: Eovaldi limited the damage to a two-run home run by Jose Caballero in the third inning, and the Rangers generated plenty of offense to counter that. This is the third start in a row where Eovaldi's completed seven innings, though it was a small step back from his one-hit outing versus the Padres last Tuesday. The right-hander has a 3.10 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 85:26 K:BB across 87 innings through 15 starts this season. He's projected for a road start in Houston his next time out.       Bobby Witt Jr. was named to his first American League All-Star team on Sunday.

      Advice: It’s the first of what should be many All-Star nominations for the 24-year-old superstar shortstop. Witt has been outstanding this season, slashing .324/.372/.564 with 15 homers, 61 RBI, 72 runs scored and 22 stolen bases. He’ll be joined on the American League squad by fellow reserves Salvador Perez, Carlos Correa, Rafael Devers, Marcus Semien, Kyle Tucker, Josh Naylor, Isaac Paredes, Jarren Duran, Riley Greene and David Fry.       Bobby Witt Jr. went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer as the Royals crushed the Rockies 10-1 on Sunday.

      Advice: Witt slumped just a bit over the second half of June, but he’s now collected 15 hits, including three homers, in his last seven games, pushing his OPS back up to .936.     • Maikel Garcia delivers three-run homer in rout
      After being dropped to the eighth spot in the order, Maikel Garcia went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer and a walk against the Rockies on Sunday.

      Advice: Garcia’s last stint of being dropped from the leadoff spot lasted two games, so we’ll see if this one is any longer. He’s been quite a disappointment for the Royals this season, though not really for fantasy purposes with his 21 steals, 52 runs scored and 40 RBI. It’s big for his fantasy value that he lead off, though, and since the Royals aren’t moving Bobby Witt Jr. or Vinnie Pasquantino up to that spot, Garcia probably remains the team’s best option.     • Nathan Eovaldi shines in win over Rays
      Nathan Eovaldi allowed two runs on four hits in seven innings in a win over the Rays on Sunday while striking out five and walking none.

      Advice: Eovaldi induced 16 whiffs on 49 swings for a 33 percent whiff rate and 33 percent CSW on the day. His splitter and curve missed tons of bats on the day, and he pounded the zone with his fastball to lower his ERA to 3.10 on the season. He has a tough start lined up against the Astros next week, but we know Kyle Tucker will not be back for that one, which makes it a little less intimidating. Rotoworld Today, 2:29 pm
       
    • Emmanuel Clase earns 27th save
      Emmanuel Clase allowed one run on one hit but secured the save in a 5-4 win over the Giants on Sunday.

      Advice: Clase allowed a one-out double to Matt Chapman before Chapman advanced to third on a catcher’s interference and then scored on a groundout. Overall, it was a good appearance for Clase, who now has 27 saves to go along with a 0.85 ERA on the season. Rotoworld Today, 1:53 pm
       
    • On track for activation Tuesday
      Phillies manager Rob Thomson confirmed Sunday that Schwarber (groin) will be activated from the 10-day injured list prior to Tuesday's series opener versus the Dodgers, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: After running on the field at approximately 90 percent intensity Saturday, Schwarber cleared the final hurdle in his recovery from a left groin strain by sprinting at full speed during a pregame workout Sunday. The Phillies apparently feel comfortable enough with Schwarber's health to let him return from the IL without heading out on a rehab assignment beforehand. Schwarber has made just three of his 78 starts in left field this season, and the Phillies will most likely deploy him strictly as a designated hitter during the upcoming week to lessen the possibility of a setback with the groin heading into the All-Star break.
