      Casas (ribs) still experiences pain when rotating and has not yet begun swinging a bat, Julian McWilliams of The Boston Globe reports.

      Advice: Casas has been taking grounders and hitting the weight room, but that he's not yet swinging a bat suggests he may not return June 21, the earliest he can be activated off the 60-day injured list. "Whenever he feels better about it and he doesn't feel pain, then [swinging] is the next step," manager Alex Cora said. "It's not about treatment or whatever. It just kind of had to heal on its own."       Josh Bell went 2-for-5 with a double, a triple, two runs scored, and an RBI in a loss to the Rays on Tuesday.

      Advice: Bell is coming off a solid month of May, where he slashed .311//365/.466 with three home runs and 18 RBI in 27 games. He’s carried that over into June, going 4-for-12 in his first three games of the month. The 31-year-old is a likely trade candidate this summer and could benefit from a change of scenery, especially if he’s going to keep hitting as well as he has been.       Pete Alonso went 2-for-4 with a long home run Tuesday against the Nationals.

      Advice: That will make two of three games that Guerrero Jr. is playing third base. The infielder has been swinging the bat better as of late, and Toronto is giving him a chance to handle the hot corner.       Guerrero went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Orioles.

      Advice: The 25-year-old crushed a Grayson Rodriguez slider in the fourth inning, sending it over the fence in straightaway center field with an exit velocity of 109.2 mph. Guerrero is beginning to flash a little more power -- over his last 11 games, he has three doubles and two of his six homers on the year -- but he's been making plenty of hard contact, slashing .367/.452/.495 since the beginning of May with 16 RBI and 16 runs in 28 contests.       Advice: The home run was Guerrero Jr.'s sixth of the season. He was back at first base after playing third base on Sunday. It would boost his fantasy value to add third base eligibility, but he’ll need a few more appearances at the hot corner for that. Guerrero Jr.'s average is up to .295 with an .808 OPS on the season.       Advice: It’s the first time Guerrero Jr. has drawn a start at third base since 2019. The 25-year-old has been working at the position during pregame festivities all season, but now he has a chance to man the hot corner for real.       Guerrero will start at third base and bat third in Sunday's game against the Pirates.

      Advice: According to Keegan Matheson of MLB.com, Guerrero has been taking grounders at third base in pregame workouts throughout the season, but he was believed to be more of an emergency option at the position after he had seen the bulk of his starts at first base or designated hitter over the past four-plus seasons. Regular third baseman Isiah Kiner-Falefa is healthy, however, and will get the start at second base Sunday, so Guerrero's inclusion at the hot corner could signal that the Blue Jays may be willing to give him more regular work at the position moving forward. Guerrero will be starting at third base Sunday for the first time since Sept. 27, 2019, with all four innings that he's played at the position since then coming as a replacement for a starter during the 2021 and 2022 seasons.       Advice: The first baseman continues to make consistent hard contact. Guerrero hasn't gone two straight games without a hit since late April, and over his last 30 contests he's slashing .368/.452/.479. He's still not providing the power expected of him and has just seven doubles and two homers during that stretch, and while he's in the 98th percentile in average exit velocity at 94.2 mph and in the 99th percentile in hard-hit rate this season, an average launch angle of 6.1 degrees -- down from 10.5 degrees last year -- is limiting his fantasy production.
