      Munoz allowed a hit and struck out two in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Friday's 5-4 win over the Angels.

      Advice: Munoz's scoreless streak is up to six innings, and he allowed just one run over 13.1 innings in May while converting all seven of his save chances during the month. The closer is 12-for-13 in save chances this year. He's been hard to hit with a 1.42 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 35:8 K:BB over 25.1 innings as the Mariners' top ninth-inning option.       Advice: Judge ended May with a bang, earning his first multi-homer game of the year while reaching the 20-homer mark. He did a ton of damage to opposing pitchers this month, going 36-for-97 (.371) with 14 long balls, 12 doubles and 27 RBI over 28 contests.       Andrés Muñoz fired a scoreless ninth with two strikeouts to pick up a save Friday against the Angels.

      Advice: Muñoz needed just 15 pitches to get through the outing with 11 of them going for strikes. The right-hander has been absolutely dominant as of late with a 1.42 ERA and 12 saves for his troubles. To say he’s not in danger of giving up his closing gig is quite the understatement.       Turang went 3-for-5 with one RBI and two runs scored in Friday's win against the White Sox.

      Advice: Turang collected his fourth three-hit night of the season, batting in his customary leadoff spot against right-handed starters with Erick Fedde on the mound. The Brewers second baseman produced another solid month in May, hitting .284 (25-for-88) with one homer, five steals, nine RBI and nine runs scored.     • Aaron Judge homers twice in win over Giants
      Aaron Judge homered twice and drove in four runs in a 6-2 win for the Yankees over the Giants on Friday.

      Advice: This getting ridiculous. Judge is now all alone in eighth place in Yankees’ history with 277 homers; passing Jorge Posada. The slugger also singled for a three-hit day, and he’s up to 20 homers on the season. The month of May has been extremely kind to Judge.     • James McArthur gives up four runs in blowing save
      James McArthur gave up four runs without retiring a batter in the eighth to take a blown save Friday against the Padres.

      Advice: Josh Schreiber, McArthur and Will Klein combined to give up nine runs in the eighth after the Royals entered the inning with a 3-2 lead. The good news for McArthur was that Schreiber, the Royals’ best alternative in the closer’s role, was pretty much equally ineffective tonight. Schrieber still has a big ERA lead on McArthur (3.00 to 5.32) and McArthur is up to four blown saves, so a change might be considered. Rotoworld Today, 9:00 pm

      Jake Burger went 3-for-5 with a couple of runs scored Friday in the win over the Rangers.

      Advice: Burger came into the night with a hideous .240 OBP, but the Marlins still had him hitting second in their lineup. Perhaps he’s starting to pull out of his slump; he has seven hits in his last three games, raising his average from .189 to .218. Rotoworld Today, 7:02 pm

    • Tanner Houck dominates in victory over Tigers
      Tanner Houck delivered a dominant performance in Friday night’s victory over the Tigers, allowing just one run on three hits over seven stellar innings.

      Advice: The 27-year-old hurler racked up six strikeouts on the evening while issuing a pair of free passes. The lone tally against him came on an RBI single by Gio Urshela in the opening inning. After that, the Tigers never really threatened against him. Houck got 10 swings and misses on 95 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of 32 percent. Now 5-5 on the season, he’ll carry an impressive 1.85 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and a 75/15 K/BB ratio (78 innings) into Thursday’s matchup against the White Sox in Chicago. Rotoworld Today, 6:42 pm
       
    • Héctor Neris allows run in ninth
      Brought in with the Cubs down one in the top of the ninth, Héctor Neris gave up a run and two hits Friday against the Reds.

      Advice: It’s the second straight outing in which Neris has allowed a run, and it proved to be a pretty big run after the Cubs scored once in the bottom of the ninth. Neris’s peripherals are still awful — he has a 16/15 K/BB in 20 innings — but so far, his only two blown saves haven’t cost the Cubs (the team won both games).
