    • Guardians activated OF Steven Kwan
Guardians activated OF Steven Kwan from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Kwan had been on the injured list since May 6th with a hamstring injury. He was hitting .353 with three home runs in 32 games before the injury. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:35 am

    • On verge of return
Kwan (hamstring) went 1-for-2 with an RBI, two walks, three runs scored and a stolen base in a rehab game with Triple-A Columbus on Thursday.

Advice: After two games with High-A Lake County, Kwan moved his rehab to Columbus earlier this week. He was on base three times Thursday in his second game with the Guardians' top minor-league affiliate and added a steal for good measure, showing good confidence in his hamstring. The 26-year-old appears poised to return to the major-league lineup in the near future, possibly as soon as Friday against Washington, and will look to pick up where he left off before going down after posting a .353/.407/.496 slash line over his first 32 games this season. • Steals ninth bag
Marte went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in Thursday's win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: The veteran outfielder ended a 12-game drought on the basepaths while recording his second straight multi-hit performance. Marte is batting .333 (10-for-30) over the last 12 games, a hot streak that has boosted his slash line on the season to .267/.314/.395 with six homers, nine steals, 19 RBI and 27 runs in 52 contests. • Perfect at plate Thursday
Lindor went 4-for-4 with a home run, an additional RBI and a stolen base in Thursday's 3-2 win against Arizona.

Advice: Lindor suffered a swollen finger on a bunt attempt during a game Tuesday, but the issue hasn't caused him to miss any time and certainly didn't seem to impact his swing Thursday. The shortstop collected his second four-hit game of the season, which was highlighted by a 431-foot solo homer in the third inning. Lindor is still batting just .225 on the campaign, but he's hit safely in nine straight contests and has posted a .375 batting average, two homers, four doubles and six RBI over that span. • Logan O’Hoppe hits solo homer in loss to Yankees
Logan O’Hoppe hit a solo homer in a loss to the Yankees on Thursday.

Advice: O’Hoppe gave the Angels a 1-0 lead with a solo blast off Carlos Rodón in the fourth. The second-year backstop has gone deep seven times with a decent — if a bit boring — .259/.311/.429 slash in 2024. Rotoworld Thursday, 9:24 pm
    • Yields four runs in loss
Gilbert (3-3) took the loss against Houston on Thursday, allowing four runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out five batters over six innings.

Advice: Gilbert began his outing with three scoreless frames, but homers by Alex Bregman and Victor Caratini plated three runs for the Astros across the fourth and fifth innings. Gilbert still had a chance to extend his three-game quality-start streak, but that was extinguished when he gave up another run in the sixth. The right-hander still has a solid 3.29 ERA and 1.00 WHIP over 76.2 innings on the campaign. Rotowire.com Thursday, 9:15 pm

    • Francisco Lindor goes 4-for-4 with homer and steal
Francisco Lindor went 4-for-4 with a homer, two RBI and a stolen base in a 3-2 win Thursday over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Fantasy managers have to be thrilled seeing this one, as Lindor has been a massive disappointment a third of the way through 2024. The homer is the ninth of the season, and the stolen base gives the 30-year-old seven swipes through 2024. Lindor has gotten off to poor starts before only to finish hot, and there’s reason to believe that can happen again. It doesn’t make the previous two months any less frustrating, however. • Homers twice in extra-innings win
Siri went 2-for-5 with a pair of solo home runs in Thursday's 6-5 win over the A's in 12 innings.

Advice: Siri extended Tampa's lead to 3-0 in the second inning, blasting a 428-foot solo shot off Hogan Harris before tying the game at 4-4 with his second homer off Oakland closer Mason Miller in the ninth. The 28-year-old Siri had been losing out on playing time to Jonny DeLuca, though the former has now gone 5-for-11 in his last three games while DeLuca has just one hit in his last 15 at-bats. Still, with Josh Lowe (oblique) aiming for a return early next week, Siri may have to settle for a short-side platoon role. He's slashing .188/.276/.338 with five homers, 17 RBI, 18 runs scored and seven steals through 45 games. Rotowire.com Thursday, 5:23 pm

    • Logan Gilbert serves up two homers in loss to Astros
Logan Gilbert allowed four runs over six innings on Thursday in a loss to the Astros.

Advice: Gilbert was burned by the long ball in this one as homers by Alex Bregman and Victor Caratini in the fourth and fifth innings, respectively, accounted for nearly all of the damage against him. He finished with five strikeouts and only issued one walk. It was just the third time in 12 starts this season that he’s surrendered four earned runs or more. He’ll carry a strong 3.29 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 71/20 K/BB ratio across 76 2/3 innings (12 starts) into a tasty road matchup on Wednesday against the Athletics. Rotoworld Thursday, 3:40 pm
