    • Back at DH on Monday
Santander (knee) is batting fifth as the designated hitter Monday against the Cardinals.

Advice: Santander aggravated his bruised knee Saturday against the Mariners and was held out of the lineup Sunday, but he's been cleared to bat in the series opener at St. Louis. The 29-year-old said Sunday that running in the outfield has been a bit problematic, so he could continue to serve as Baltimore's DH for the next few days as he completes his recovery. • Returns to lineup Monday
Martinez (illness) will start at designated hitter and bat cleanup in Monday's game in Cleveland.

Advice: Martinez sat out Sunday's contest due to flu-like symptoms but is feeling well enough to give it a go in this one. The veteran DH has slashed .315/.359/.466 with two home runs in 21 games to begin his tenure with the Mets. Rotowire.com Today, 12:35 pm

    • Hits homer No. 9
Paredes went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run during Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Blue Jays.

Advice: Paredes was the only source of offense for the Rays, delivering a two-run homer off Zach Pop in the top of the ninth inning. The third baseman has notched a hit in seven straight starts, batting 11-for-28 (.392) with six RBI during that stretch. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:17 pm

    • Impressive in return to closer role
Kimbrel pitched a clean ninth inning, striking out two to pick up a save Sunday against the Mariners.

Advice: It appears Kimbrel has found his groove again, and he was rewarded with a save opportunity while posting his fourth consecutive appearance without allowing a hit or a walk. It was the first save since May 3 for Kimbrel, who had posted a 16.20 ERA and 4.50 WHIP over 3.1 innings in the six outings prior to this most recent four-game stretch. • Earns fifth win
Keller (5-3) allowed two runs on two hits and three walks while striking out three over six innings to earn the win Sunday over the Cubs.

Advice: It wasn't as dominant an outing as his six scoreless innings versus the Brewers on Monday, but it was still Keller's third straight quality start. He's allowed three runs over 21 innings across three starts in May. The strong pitching has him down to a 3.84 ERA with a 1.28 WHIP and 54:19 K:BB through 61 innings over 10 starts this season. Keller is projected for a tough home start versus Atlanta in his next outing. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:18 pm
    • Marcell Ozuna doubles in loss to Padres
Marcell Ozuna went 1-for-3 with a double as the Braves were dominated by Yu Darvish and the Padres on Sunday evening in Atlanta.

Advice: Ozuna smacked a two-out double off of Darvish in the opening inning, but he never advanced past second base. No other Braves’ hitter would touch second base the remainder of the night against Darvish. Ozuna continues to power the Braves’ offense this season — slashing a robust .325/.400/.610 with 12 homers and 41 RBI through his first 42 ballgames. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:04 pm

    • Mitch Keller posts quality start in win over Cubs
Mitch Keller posted a quality start in Sunday’s victory over the Cubs, allowing two runs on just two hits over six frames.

Advice: The right-hander walked three and struck out three batters on the afternoon. All of the damage one against him came on sacrifice flies — one by Seiya Suzuki in the third inning and another off the bat of Christopher Morel in the sixth. Keller got 10 swings and misses on 83 pitches on the afternoon — seven of those on his heater — while registering a CSW of 30 percent. Now 5-3 on the season, he’ll tote a 3.84 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and a 54/19 K/BB ratio (61 innings) into Saturday’s tough matchup against the Braves. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:07 pm
    • Seiya Suzuki drives in run in loss to Pirates
Seiya Suzuki walked, drove in a run and scored a run on Sunday afternoon as the Cubs fell to the Pirates in their series finale in Chicago.

Advice: Suzuki got the Cubs on the board in the third inning as he plated Mike Tauchman with a sacrifice fly. He was then hit by a pitch in the sixth inning, advanced to third on a double by Cody Bellinger and scored on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Christopher Morel. On the season, the 29-year-old outfielder is now hitting .267/.337/.456 with four homers, 16 RBI and one stolen base on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:07 pm
    • Craig Kimbrel perfect in return to closer’s role
Getting a chance to close for the first time since May 8, Craig Kimbrel struck out two in a perfect ninth Sunday against the Mariners.

Advice: This was truly easing him back into the closer’s role; not only did he have a three-run lead, but he was getting the bottom third of the Mariners lineup. Kimbrel has allowed just one batter to reach in four scoreless innings since his May 8 outing knocked him out of the closer’s role for a spell. He’ll likely be the primary guy for now, though it’d be best if he could go a couple of more weeks without any miscues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:54 pm
