• David Peterson loses command in no decision
David Peterson allowed one run on three hits in 4 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Yankees.

Advice: Peterson also struck out eight but walked five on the day. He was gifted a 6-1 lead, but he was unable to pitch deep enough to get the win as he walked two straight batters after getting the first out in the fifth inning and was removed before facing a right-handed batter. The left-hander had an impressive 31 percent whiff rate and 30 percent CSW on the day, but he struggled to find the zone with his fastball and now has 10 walks over his last three starts. He hasn’t been consistent since coming off the IL, but he has flashed some swing-and-miss that could keep him on the streaming radar. Rotoworld 2 minutes ago

  • Heaney allows two earned runs in loss to Brewers
Andrew Heaney allowed two earned runs over five innings while striking out four in Tuesday’s loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Heaney scattered two runs across five frames, allowing an RBI single to Jackson Chourio in the third inning and a solo homer to Joey Ortiz in the fifth. The veteran lefty did a nice job of limiting runs but received only one run of support from his offense, as he remains stuck on just two wins for the year. Sitting on a 2-8 record with a 4.17 ERA, Heaney could have a tough time earning that third win on Sunday when he’s set to take on the Orioles in Baltimore. Rotoworld 4 minutes ago

  • Zack Littell strikes out six in win
Zack Littell allowed two runs on four hits in five innings in a win over the Mariners on Tuesday.

Advice: Littell also struck out six and walked one while registering 14 whiffs on 38 swings for a 37 percent whiff rate and 33 percent CSW. His only mistake was on a two-run home run by Ty France in the fifth inning. That’s two straight solid starts for Littell, who has not pitched more than five innings since June 9th. He’ll take a 4.17 ERA into a start against the Royals next week. He can be started in most fantasy leagues for that one. Rotoworld Today, 6:35 pm

  • Emmanuel Clase silences O’s to net 25th save
Emmanuel Clase tossed a scoreless ninth inning on Tuesday against the Orioles to record his 25th save of the season.

Advice: Clase was summoned to protect a two-run lead in the ninth inning at Camden Yards and managed to work around a one-out double from pinch-hitter Cedric Mullins to notch another save. The hard-throwing 26-year-old stopper has picked up four saves in the last week alone as Cleveland continues stringing together victories. Rotoworld Today, 6:27 pm
  • Cole Irvin hit hard Tuesday in loss to Guardians
Cole Irvin was lit up for eight runs (four earned) over four innings on Tuesday in a loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Irvin was torched for 10 hits, including a three-run homer by José Ramírez in the fourth inning prior to his early exit. He notched only one strikeout and didn’t issue a walk. He’ll face the Rangers on Sunday his next time out. Rotoworld Today, 6:26 pm

  • Padres activate and option Glenn Otto to Triple-A
Padres activated RHP Glenn Otto from the 15-day injured list; optioned him to Triple-A El Paso.

Advice: Otto will remain stationed at Triple-A El Paso as extra organizational depth after wrapping up a minor league rehab assignment. The 28-year-old righty has been out since mid-May due to a right shoulder strain. Rotoworld Today, 5:12 pm

  • Brock Stewart (shoulder) draws closer to return
Brock Stewart (shoulder) is scheduled to throw two bullpen sessions this week.

Advice: Stewart has been out since early May due to shoulder tendinitis, but he appears to be creeping closer towards kicking off a rehab assignment. The 32-year-old righty should be ready to rejoin Minnesota’s high-leverage mix at some point next month. Rotoworld Today, 4:48 pm
  • Gregory Santos (lat) nears rehab assignment
Gregory Santos (lat) is slated to throw a live batting practice session on Friday.

Advice: Santos is expected to head out on a minor league rehab assignment shortly afterwards, assuming he gets through Friday’s session without any issues. The 24-year-old high-leverage specialist has been on the shelf since spring training due to a lat issue. Rotoworld Today, 4:12 pm
