Heaney allows two earned runs in loss to Brewers
Andrew Heaney allowed two earned runs over five innings while striking out four in Tuesday’s loss to the Brewers.
Advice: Heaney scattered two runs across five frames, allowing an RBI single to Jackson Chourio in the third inning and a solo homer to Joey Ortiz in the fifth. The veteran lefty did a nice job of limiting runs but received only one run of support from his offense, as he remains stuck on just two wins for the year. Sitting on a 2-8 record with a 4.17 ERA, Heaney could have a tough time earning that third win on Sunday when he’s set to take on the Orioles in Baltimore.
