    Advice: Contreras has made a rapid recovery from surgery to repair his fractured forearm, and what looked to be an injury that would keep him out through the All-Star break now appears to be one where he could be back as the Cardinals backstop in the next week.     Melendez went 2-for-4 with a grand slam in Saturday's win over the Dodgers.

    Advice: Melendez put the Royals on top with a two-out grand slam in the top of the sixth, drawing 12 pitches in the at-bat before jumping on a hanging cutter from Blake Treinen. The 25-year-old also recorded an infield single earlier in the contest, giving him his first multi-hit effort since May 10 against the Angels. Melendez is batting just .152 in June with and Saturday actually marked the first time this month in which he's strung together hits in back-to-back contests.     Advice: Raleigh has two steals this year, and they've both come over his last 10 games. In that span, he's gone 8-for-35 (.229) with three extra-base hits and 10 RBI. The catcher is slashing .209/.287/.400 with 12 home runs, 43 RBI and 27 runs scored over 67 contests this year. Raleigh is unlikely to ever hit for a good average, but he has the ability to make an impact with power and run production, especially when hitting in the heart of the order.
