    • Hunter Greene coughs up six runs to Pirates
      Hunter Greene allowed six runs on seven hits in four innings in a loss to the Pirates on Tuesday.

      Advice: The game started with Greene throwing up on the mound after delivering a first-inning fastball and it didn’t get much better from there. He struck out five and walked two and his velocity was fine on the day, but he clearly wasn’t feeling 100 percent. He posted a solid 27 percent whiff rate and 30 percent CSW, but the command wasn’t great and the Pirates were able to scratch out their runs on just one extra-base hit.       José Ramírez went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer on Tuesday, lifting the Guardians to a 10-8 win over the Orioles.

      Advice: Ramírez clobbered a three-run shot in the fourth inning to give Cleveland a commanding four-run advantage at the time. The 31-year-old fantasy star has gone deep three times over his last four games and is now up to 21 round-trippers this season already.       Ranger Suárez allowed four runs over six innings on Tuesday in a loss to the Tigers.

      Advice: Suárez was simply outdueled by Tigers ace Tarik Skubal on Tuesday night at Comerica Park as the pair traded zeroes until the fifth inning when Detroit’s lineup struck for four runs on five hits in the frame. He finished with four punchouts and didn’t hand out a free pass. It was just the second time this season through 16 starts that he’s allowed four earned runs or more.       Hernandez (personal) is unavailable for Tuesday's game against the White Sox, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

      Advice: Hernandez is currently tending to personal matters in the Dominican Republic and was initially expected to rejoin the team prior to Tuesday's contest.       Advice: Steer sparked the Reds' offense with a two-run double in the fourth inning, then singled in a run as part of the team's four-run sixth. Following a 13-game stretch in which he had just three RBI, Steer has knocked in five over the last three games. He leads Cincinnati with 48 RBI, which ranks 20th overall in MLB.       Garcia went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's loss to the Brewers.

      Advice: Garcia gave the Rangers a 3-1 lead with his sixth-inning blast, though the advantage was wiped out on a Rhys Hoskins grand slam in the bottom of the frame. As with Hoskins, Garcia's homer ended an extended power drought -- the outfielder hadn't gone deep in any of his past 17 games and had driven in just one run during that span. Ramirez continues to be active on the basepaths, notching his fourth steal over the past week.
