      Advice: Robert has gone 1-for-12 with a home run in three games for Triple-A Charlotte on his rehab assignment. There’s optimism that he’ll be ready to return early next week, but he’s going to get a couple more minor-league games under his belt this weekend to continue knocking off the rust.       Yelich went 5-for-6 with a stolen base, two doubles, five RBI and one run scored in Friday's win against the White Sox.

      Advice: Yelich collected his first five-hit game of 2024 and fifth of his career, achieving the feat for the first time since Aug. 17, 2019. The former MVP has been resurgent since returning from a back injury May 8, hitting .321 (25-for-78) with one homer, six stolen bases, 16 RBI and 14 runs scored.       Christian Yelich went 5-for-6, drove in five runs and stole a base in a 12-5 win over the White Sox on Friday.

      Advice: The Brew Crew were able to pick up 23 hits and six walks against the overmatched White Sox. Yelich was responsible for nearly a quarter of those, and two of them were double, giving him six on the season. The steal was the eighth, and Yelich continues to impress when on the field in 2024 with a .325/.406/.564 slash. It’s fun to see a the MVP version of Yelich thus far.       Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo told reporters on Friday night that Zac Gallen was diagnosed with a Grade 1 hamstring strain.

      Advice: That’s obviously good news, as Grade 1 is the least severe of the strains. The 28-year-old hurler dealt with a similar injury back in 2021 and wound up missing the minimum 15 days of action. The Diamondbacks are hopeful that he’ll face a similar timeline this time as well and that he’ll be able to return to the starting rotation in mid-June when he’s eligible.       The Dodgers reinstated Phillips (hamstring) from the 15-day injured list Friday, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

      Advice: Phillips was forced onto the injured list May 5 after suffering a right hamstring strain. He's since thrown 1.2 innings of shutout ball while striking out three batters and walking none during a rehab assignment with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga. The 29-year-old right-hander should immediately retain his spot as the Dodgers' closer -- a role he thrived in prior to getting injured, giving up just one earned run in 13.2 frames while collecting eight saves.       The Diamondbacks placed Gallen on the 15-day injured list Friday due to a right hamstring strain.

      Advice: Gallen was pulled from Thursday's start against the Mets after throwing just six pitches without recording an out. He has been dealing with a right hamstring issue since April 26, and the 28-year-old right-hander will now be on the shelf for an extended period of time after aggravating the injury. It's unclear how long Gallen will be sidelined, but if he misses only the minimum, that would put him in line to return June 15 against the White Sox.
