      Christian Walker went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI on Sunday, propelling the Diamondbacks to a 5-1 win over the Athletics.

      Advice: Walker kicked off the scoring in the fourth inning with a run-scoring single against Oakland starter Luis Medina before extending Arizona’s lead a couple frames later with another run-scoring single as part of a three-hit effort.       Advice: Turner gave himself the best birthday present by driving in the go-ahead runs in Sunday's win. He hit a two-run single in the seventh to complete the Phillies comeback after trailing 6-2. Turner has had three multi-hit games over his last five and at least one hit in 10 of his last 12.       Astros general manager Dana Brown said Sunday that Verlander (neck) resumed playing catch from 60 feet Sunday and "felt good," Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

      Advice: The 41-year-old's return to throwing is an encouraging development after he was shut down for a bit while recovering from neck soreness.       Lugo (11-2) picked up the win Sunday against Cleveland, allowing four hits and one walk while striking out 10 over six scoreless innings.

      Advice: Lugo was dominant Sunday, throwing 66 of his 93 pitches for strikes en route to 10 strikeouts. The 34-year-old logged his fourth consecutive quality start and his 14th of the season, tied for first in MLB. Over his past four starts, the right-hander has registered a robust 1.46 ERA along with a 1.01 WHIP and 30:7 K:BB over 24.2 innings.       Seth Lugo threw six shutout innings and got the win in the Royals’ 6-2 victory over the Guardians on Sunday.



      Advice: Lugo gave up four hits, walked one and struck out 10. The win was his 11th of the season. It was another excellent start for Lugo, who lowered his ERA to 2.17 on the season with the effort. The 34-year-old right-hander is set to face the Rockies on the road next weekend.

      Aaron Judge went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer on Sunday against the Blue Jays.

      Wilyer Abreu singled twice and walked in his three plate appearances Sunday as the Red Sox topped the Padres 4-1.

      Advice: In spite of the strong showing, Abreu was still lifted for a pinch-hitter against a lefty reliever in the eighth. Abreu hit his line drive singles 107 and 104 mph today.       Justin Turner went 1-for-4 with an RBI on Sunday against the Yankees.

      Advice: One day after belting a decisive three-run homer in the eighth inning, O'Hoppe tormented the Tigers again with a game-tying solo blast in the eighth frame. The budding star ranks fifth among MLB backstops with 12 long balls on the campaign while slashing a strong .273/.325/.478.
