    • Ryan O’Hearn goes 3-for-4, knocks in run
Starting against a lefty for the first time all season, Ryan O’Hearn went 3-for-4 with an RBI against the Rangers on Sunday.

Advice: We’re still not sure why O’Hearn played and Ryan Mountcastle sat tonight, but O’Hearn came through nicely, picking up all three of his hits against lefties. He had been 2-for-15 versus southpaws this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:15 pm

    • Henry Davis (concussion) sees rehab stint paused
Henry Davis is having his rehab stint put on hold as he attempts to return from a concussion.

Advice: Davis was 0-for-6 with five strikeouts since joining Double-A Altoona on Wednesday. Expectations are that he’ll be optioned to Triple-A once healthy. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:21 pm

    • Taylor Ward (head) likely to play Tuesday
Angels manager Ron Washington said after the game that Taylor Ward was fine after being hit in the helmet by a pitch.

Advice: It sounds like Ward will be ready to go after the off day Monday. He left Sunday’s game in the ninth after a Shelby Miller fastball got him on the ear flap. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:40 pm

    • Luke Raley hobbled after taking pitch off foot
Luke Raley appeared hobbled in the Mariners clubhouse after Sunday’s game, which saw him get hit in the left foot by a pitch.

Advice: Manager Scott Servais didn’t mention anything regarding Raley after the game, suggesting that no X-rays or anything were required here. He’ll probably be fine for Tuesday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:40 pm

    • Blasts eighth home run
Yelich went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's win against the Cubs.

Advice: Yelich took Kyle Hendricks deep in the fourth inning as part of a seven-run frame for the Brewers. The 32-year-old outfielder has underwhelmed in the power department with just eight home runs, but he has batted .321 (99th percentile) while racking up 18 steals in 19 attempts across 58 games this season. • Trey Cabbage doubles twice in win
Trey Cabbage went 2-for-5 with two doubles in the Astros’ 10-5 win over the Mets on Sunday.

Advice: Cabbage, trying to distinguish himself in the Astros’ right field jumble sans Kyle Tucker, was excellent Sunday. He had four hard-hit balls and two of them were hit harder than 111 MPH. His 11th inning double finally broke this game open and there’s an ample opportunity for Cabbage to claim some playing time while Tucker’s status remains murky. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:36 pm

    • Brewers activating Mitchell, demoting Black
The Brewers will activate Garrett Mitchell and send down Tyler Black prior to Monday’s game in Colorado.

Advice: It seemed like Black would get more of a look this time around, but after four games in which he collected three hits and three walks, the Brewers glued him to the bench for the entire last week. Now they’ll be creating a logjam in the outfield by activating Mitchell while keeping Sal Frelick and Blake Perkins around. Jackson Chourio has turned into a fixture in right, so the Brewers will be choosing between Mitchell, Frelick, Perkins and Jake Bauers for two lineup spots each day. That’s not a great fantasy value situation for Mitchell, though his upside is very much present. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:35 pm
    • Brandon Nimmo doubles, homers
Brandon Nimmo went 3-for-5 with a home run, double, walk, three RBI, and two runs scored on Sunday against the Astros.

Advice: Nimmo’s two extra-base hits came at extremely clutch times for the Mets: his two-run homer, the 100th of his career, tied this game in the seventh and his RBI double again brought the Mets even in extra innings. His resurgence over the last few weeks has been a spectacle as he’s pulled his OPS up from .708 on June 13th to .815 today. He’s found a home in the two-hole of the Mets’ lineup and is on pace for 26 homers, 30 doubles, 106 runs scored, 100 RBI, and 10 stolen bases this season. That is the statline of a bona fide stud. • Trevor Larnach slugs go-ahead homer to defeat M’s
Trevor Larnach belted a go-ahead two-run homer on Sunday, leading the Twins to a 5-3 victory over the Mariners.

Advice: Larnach crushed a 406-foot blast to right-center field off Mariners reliever Ryne Stanek in the eighth inning to put the Twins ahead for good on Sunday afternoon at T-Mobile Park. It was his eighth big fly of the season and first time he’s gone deep since June 16. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:32 pm
