      Gray (9-4) picked up the win Sunday against San Francisco, allowing one run on one hit with no walks across seven innings. He struck out eight.

      Advice: Gray took a perfect game into the seventh inning before Patrick Bailey launched a solo home run with two outs. Although the Cardinals' bullpen gave up two more runs, Gray was able to claim his ninth win of 2024, his most wins in a season since 2019. The 34-year-old has completed at least seven innings in three consecutive starts and owns a 2.95 ERA along with an 11.1 K/9 across 83.1 innings.       Scott allowed two hits and a walk in a scoreless inning Sunday, striking out one and earning a save over the Mariners.

      Advice: Scott loaded the bases with two outs but managed to finish off the 6-4 win unscathed. He tossed 16 of 22 pitches for strikes and notched his first save since Jun 11. He blew his last save chance June 13 but has since turned in five straight scoreless innings. Scott has nine saves with a 1.64 ERA and a 35:23 K:BB through 33 innings.       Advice: The Orioles' offense went from hot to cold in a hurry -- Westburg's home runs in back-to-back games are their only scoring plays in those contests. The infielder is still warm, going 16-for-57 (.280) over his last 14 games with four homers, four doubles, two triples and nine RBI in that span.     • Sonny Gray electric in win over Giants
      Sonny Gray allowed one run on one hit in seven innings in a win over the Giants on Sunday.

      Advice: Gray also struck out eight and walked none while posting a 30 percent whiff rate and 39 percent CSW. He only made one real mistake on the day, allowing a solo home run to Patrick Bailey in the seventh inning.       Jordan Westburg went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Astros on Sunday.

      Advice: Just like on Saturday, Westburg homered but the Orioles offense couldn’t do much else. Westburg now has 13 home runs and 45 RBI so far on the season; however, he did also strike out twice on Sunday and his batting average is down to .277 on the season. Westburg swings often so it doesn’t always matter that he swings and misses a lot, but he will have stretches where those whiffs drag the batting average down a bit.       Iglesias struck out two during a perfect ninth to collect the save Sunday against the Yankees.

      Advice: Iglesias needed just 10 pitches to close out the game, retiring Aaron Judge on one pitch, then striking out the final two batters he faced. Iglesias has converted 12 consecutive save chances and 20 of 22 opportunities on the season, carrying a 2.51 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 23 strikeouts over 28.2 innings.       Advice: Toro landed on the injured list Saturday due to a Grade 1 strain of his right hamstring, and the A's have already determined that his absence will extend into the second half of the season.
