The 29-year-old outfielder also led off the second inning with a single, but he was ultimately erased on a double play. Only once did the Mariners advance a runner past second base on Rodriguez in this one, and that came with two outs in the sixth inning before Rodriguez punched out Cal Raleigh to end the threat. He generated a whopping 19 swings and misses on 104 pitches on the night, posting a strong CSW of 32 percent.       Trevor Megill slammed the door on the Rockies in the ninth inning on Tuesday evening, preserving a one-run lead to notch his 18th save of the season.

      Advice: The Brewers rallied to score twice in the top half of the ninth inning, setting the stage for Megill to come on and do his thing. The 30-year-old hurler made it look easy once again, getting Ezequiel Tovar on a fly ball to center and Brendan Rodgers on a swinging third strike to begin the inning. He did allow a two-out single to Ryan McMahon, but battled back to get Elias Diaz on a swinging third strike to end it.
