      The Dodgers placed Muncy on the 10-day injured list Friday due to a Grade 1 right oblique strain.

      Advice: Dodgers manager Dave Roberts indicated that Muncy had sustained the strain during batting practice before Thursday's game, and the veteran third baseman will not swing a bat for a few days, per David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports. The 33-year-old slugger has been a very capable run-producer in the middle of the Dodgers’ lineup this season — slashing .223/.323/.475 with nine homers and 28 RBI through his first 40 games He’s going to miss at least a couple of weeks — and it could wind up being longer depending on the severity of the strain.       Advice: Diaz opened the scoring with a bases-clearing double in the third inning off Joey Estes and the route was on from there. He hit 23 home runs in 104 games last year, but his power is noticeably down this year. His .119 ISO is well below his .256 ISO from last year. Diaz doesn’t walk often, but has cut his strikeout percentage to 13 percent so far this year.     • Bohm smacks two doubles Thursday
      Alec Bohm went 2-for-5 with two doubles and an RBI against the Mets on Thursday.



      Advice: Bohm continues to bash the ball this season as his average is .331. Bohm has a 15 percent strikeout percentage since the beginning of last season. He’s someone you can count on for a solid batting average and entrenched in the middle of the Phillies batting order. Bohm is also benefiting greatly from a .381 BABIP, which is 55 points higher than his career .326 BABIP. He probably has to cool off at some point, but his profile doesn’t scream sell high.

      Tyler O’Neill is not in the lineup on Thursday as the Red Sox take on the Rays.

      Advice: After getting off to a torrid start, O’Neill has struggled of late. Since his collision with Rafael Devers in the outfield on April 15th which landed O’Neill on the concussion IL, the outfielder has hit just .219 with three home runs and a 41.5 percent strikeout rate. He was hitting .313 with seven home runs and a 21 percent strikeout rate prior. While the early season sample size is small, it’s worth noting that concussion symptoms can linger, as we saw with Anthony Rizzo last year. Perhaps it’s just a cold stretch, but maybe O’Neill is still feeling some effects of the head injury.
