    • Hunter Greene looks good against LAD
Hunter Greene allowed two runs on four hits in 6 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Dodgers on Sunday.

Advice: Greene struck out eight and walked just two on the day. He also posted a 35 percent whiff rate and 30 percent CSW as the four-seam fastball carved up the Dodgers on Sunday. Greene also allowed just one extra-base hit, but it happened to be a home run to Andy Pages. All of that pre-season talk of Greene adding another pitch was much ado about nothing, as Greene threw just eight splitters on the day and earned one whiff, but his slider command has improved and Greene has a 3.22 ERA on the season heading into a rematch against these Dodgers next week. • Aaron Nola goes seven in victory over Nationals
Aaron Nola lasted seven innings and allowed three runs Sunday in beating the Nationals.

Advice: A strong followup to his shutout of the Mets. Nola gave up just two hits, which were homers to Eddie Rosario and Jesse Winker. He’s completed seven innings in five of his last seven starts, and he’s 6-2 with a 3.05 ERA for the season. Rotoworld Today, 2:20 pm

    • Jordan Romano nails down seventh save
Jordan Romano struck out the only batter he faced on Sunday to earn the save.

Advice: Romano came on for the last out of the game after Zach Pop allowed a two-run homer to Isaac Paredes and closed the door. Strikeouts have lagged for Romano since returning from the IL and his hold on the closer role could become shaky with Yimi Garcia’s breakout. Rotoworld Today, 1:42 pm
    • Should swing soon
Riley is out of the lineup against the Padres but hasn't had any issues with his intercostal injury Sunday, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: Riley hasn't seen the field since May 12 due to intercostal inflammation but appears to be progressing in his recovery, and he could soon resume taking swings. The 27-year-old may be able to avoid a stint on the injured list but still seems to be at a couple days away from rejoining the lineup. Rotowire.com Today, 1:33 pm

    • Austin Riley (side) feeling much improved Sunday
Austin Riley (side) felt much improved on Sunday and is expected to begin swinging a bat soon.

Advice: For the first time since suffering the injury, Riley didn’t feel anything in his side on Sunday. He’ll now start to ramp back up with the hope that he’ll be able to rejoin the Braves’ lineup in a couple of days. Zack Short will continue to handle the hot corner in his absence. • Still sidelined Sunday
Riley (side) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.

Advice: The 27-year-old said Saturday that he's feeling better, but he's still absent from the lineup for a fifth straight game due to left side inflammation. A trip to the injured list has yet to be discussed for the third baseman, but that could change if Riley doesn't show more improvement soon. Zack Short will receive another start at the hot corner Sunday for Atlanta. Rotowire.com Today, 12:18 pm

    • Riley, d’Arnaud remain out against Padres
Austin Riley (side) is not in the lineup for Sunday’s contest against the Padres.

Advice: As expected, Riley will miss a sixth straight games as he deals with left side inflammation. The infielder is considered day-to-day, but his next chance to get in the lineup won’t come until next week. Zack Short will start while he rests. Rotoworld Today, 12:05 pm

    • Kwan (hamstring) could begin rehab assignment soon
Guardians general manager Chris Antonetti told reporters Sunday that the hope is that Steven Kwan (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment in the next 7-10 days.

Advice: Kwan was able to take batting practice Friday and has reportedly made steady progress from the hamstring strain that has sidelined him since the middle of May. The outfielder will likely need to play a handful of MiLB games, but then could be back hitting at the top of the Cleveland lineup around the start of June. Rotoworld Today, 8:39 am

    • J.D. Martinez out of lineup with flu-like symptoms
J.D. Martinez is not in the starting lineup Sunday due to flu-like symptoms according to Jon Heyman of the New York Post.

Advice: Heyman also reports that Francisco Lindor and Harrison Bader are also under the weather, but they’re in the lineup. For now, Martinez should be considered day-to-day. Rotoworld Today, 8:08 am
