    • Report: Cubs could trade Hoerner, Belly, and more
According to USA Today’s Bob Nightengale, the Chicago Cubs “are preparing for a potential sale, with [Cody] Bellinger, Jameson Taillon and Nico Hoerner expected to draw interest.”

Advice: Nightengale also notes that the Cubs have not yet decided if they will sell at the deadline or not, but they are listening to offers for the three players listed above. Taillon is in the midst of a solid season despite not bringing a lot of strikeout value for fantasy and could see a boost with a better team context, while Nico Hoerner could see a boost to his fantasy stock as well if he is traded to a team that will let him steal more regularly. • Another timely homer Sunday
Rafaela went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Yankees.

Advice: Rafaela delivered late with a solo home run off Jared Weaver in the eighth to give the Red Sox a 2-0 lead. He now has three homers and nine RBI over his last six games and has seen his hitting numbers steadily rise since early June after a slow start to the campaign. The 23-year-old is now slashing .244/.272/.417 with 11 homers, 50 RBI, 43 runs, 11 steals and an 11:87 BB:K in 325 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 6:42 am

    • Strong start spoiled
Gil (9-5) took the loss Sunday against the Red Sox, allowing one run on four hits and no walks while striking out nine over 6.2 innings.

Advice: Gil was locked into a scoreless pitcher's duel with Kutter Crawford until he gave up an opposite-field solo home run to Rafael Devers in the seventh. He retired one more batter after Devers and then exited the game and wound up with the loss after the Yankees ended up getting shut out. It was an encouraging showing for Gil nonetheless after he had surrendered 16 runs and posted a 6:9 K:BB in 9.2 innings over his prior three starts. Sunday was also the first time the 26-year-old managed to not walk a batter all year and the first time he reached six innings since June 4. Gil will look to generate one more strong start before the All-Star break and currently lines up to face the Orioles in Baltimore over the weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 6:34 am

    • Generates another quality start
Kirby didn't factor into the decision Sunday against the Blue Jays, allowing three runs on seven hits and a walk over six-plus innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: Kirby posted a sixth straight quality start and left the contest having allowed just one run. However, he left a pair of runners on the basepaths, both of which came in to score on a George Springer home run to finalize Kirby's earned run total at three. Kirby is tied for the 10th most quality starts in baseball and ranks top-10 in innings pitched with 111.2. He owns a 3.39 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP along with an outstanding 109:11 K:BB on the year. He's scheduled to face the Angels next weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 12:51 am

    • Fans 10 in no-decision
Berrios didn't factor into the decision Sunday against Seattle, allowing four runs on seven hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out 10.

Advice: Berrios had issues keeping the ball in the park Sunday, with a Victor Robles solo homer and a three-run home run by Mitch Garver accounting for the Mariners four runs on the day. Berrios' struggles with the long ball aren't particularly new, as the 30-year-old has surrendered a round tripper in seven consecutive starts and has yielded multiple homers five times this season. However, there was a silver lining for Sunday's start, with Berrios setting a season high in strikeouts. He's on track to face the Diamondbacks in Arizona next weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 12:50 am
    • Goes seven innings strong
Singer (5-5) picked up the win Sunday against Colorado, allowing one run on six hits and two walks across seven innings. He struck out seven.

Advice: Singer picked up his first win since May 19 and was able to minimize the impacts of Coors Field, allowing no extra-base hits in seven innings of work. Although Singer's efforts haven't resulted in wins, he's allowed less than three earned runs in seven of his last nine starts and has logged a quality start in three of his last five outings. Through 101.1 innings, Singer owns a 2.93 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP. He's in line for one more start before the All-Star break, which is scheduled to come during a weekend series in Boston. • Ceddanne Rafaela goes deep as Red Sox top Yankees
Ceddanne Rafaela went 1-for-3 and belted a solo homer on Sunday night as the Red Sox eked out a victory over the Yankees in New York.

Advice: The versatile 23-year-old delivered a valuable insurance run with a two-out, 412-foot (106.1 mph EV) solo shot off of Luke Weaver in the eighth inning that increased the Red Sox’ lead to 2-0. On the season, he’s now hitting .244/.272/.417 with 11 long balls, 50 RBI and 11 stolen bases through his first 87 ballgames. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:34 pm

    • Luis Gil fans nine Red Sox in tough-luck loss
Luis Gil was outstanding in a tough-luck loss against the Red Sox on Sunday night, racking up nine strikeouts over 6 2/3 innings of one-run baseball.

Advice: The 26-year-old hurler scattered just four hits on the evening and didn’t walk a batter. He was engaged in a scoreless pitcher’s duel with Kutter Crawford until he served up an opposite-field solo homer to Rafael Devers in the seventh inning. Gil generated 15 swings and misses on 96 pitches in the ballgame — seven on his fastball and six on his slider — while posting a CSW of 31 percent. He’ll look to replicate this fine outing and finish the first half strong as he brings a 3.27 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and a 111/48 K/BB ratio (96 1/3 innings) into a tough matchup against the Orioles in Baltimore on Saturday. • Drives in two in win
Arenado went 2-for-5 with two RBI in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Nationals.

Advice: Arenado continues his hot stretch at the plate with his third consecutive game of two or more hits. It's the second time this season he's put together a streak of three straight multi-hits, each of which has come over his last 22 appearances. He also picked up an RBI in consecutive games after a stretch where he only had two RBI in his last 14 games. The veteran's slash line sits at a solid .270/.322/.379 but a lack of homers - seven so far - has stunted his fantasy value. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:49 pm
