    • Produces run in loss
Suarez batted seventh and went 0-for-2 with a walk and an RBI in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Rangers.

Advice: Suarez knocked in Arizona's second run with a sacrifice fly in the second inning, just his second RBI over the last 12 games. The third baseman has been grinding with a .182 average and .504 OPS for the month of May. He opened the season as the regular sixth batter in the order but was dropped to seventh against right-handers since the middle of last week. Rotowire.com 30 minutes ago

    • Zack Wheeler shuts down Giants in no-decision
Zack Wheeler blanked the Giants for six innings, allowing just two hits, in a no-decision Tuesday.

Advice: Wheeler wasn’t at his most efficient tonight, but that didn’t really matter, since the Phillies went 10 innings without scoring. It’s Wheeler’s ninth quality start in 12 tries, and he lowered his ERA to 2.32. Still, the Phillies bizarrely are only 6-6 when he pitches, compared to 32-12 the rest of the time. • Goes seven innings in loss
Pfaadt (2-4) allowed four runs on six hits and a walk while striking out five over seven innings to take the loss versus the Rangers on Tuesday.

Advice: Pfaadt covered at least six innings for the sixth start in a row, but this was the third time this year he's allowed at least four earned runs. Josh Smith had an RBI single in the third inning and Corey Seager continued his power surge with a three-run home run in the fifth. Pfaadt is now at a 4.16 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 63:12 K:BB through 67 innings across 11 starts. He's projected to make his next start on the road versus the Mets. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:15 pm

    • Pfaadt allows four earned runs in loss to Rangers
Brandon Pfaadt allowed six hits and four earned runs over seven innings in the Diamondbacks’ loss to the Rangers.

Advice: Pfaadt got some early run support in the second inning but the Diamondbacks were unable to keep pace with the Rangers, who hung three runs on Pfaadt in the fifth inning via a Corey Seager three-run homer. Pfaadt allowed three or more earned runs in three of his five starts in May, and picked up just one win on the month. Pfaadt will carry a 4.16 ERA and 1.07 WHIP into his next start, which is scheduled for Sunday against the Mets. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:23 pm

    • Luis Robert Jr. (hip) homers Tuesday at Triple-A
Luis Robert Jr. (hip) belted a solo homer on Tuesday in a minor league rehab contest for Triple-A Charlotte.

Advice: Robert made some noise right away in his first rehab contest at the Triple-A level with a towering blast in his first at-bat of the night. He finished 1-for-3 with a pair of runs scored. The 26-year-old fantasy stalwart will likely get a couple more rehab games under his belt before returning to Chicago, but he’s not far away at this juncture. He’s been out since early April due to a Grade 2 hip flexor strain. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:22 pm

    • Gerrit Cole (elbow) to face hitters again Thursday
Gerrit Cole (elbow) will face hitters again on Thursday in a live batting practice session.

Advice: It’ll be the third time that Cole faces hitters as he continues ramping up his progression towards a potential June return to New York’s starting rotation. He’s presumably getting close to a minor league rehab start at some point in the near future, but the Yankees are clearly not rushing him back. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:12 pm

    • Royce Lewis (quad) plays 3B on Tuesday at AAA
Royce Lewis (quad) played seven innings at third base on Tuesday for Triple-A St. Paul.

Advice: Lewis went 0-for-3 at the dish and made his first appearance in the field since kicking off a minor league rehab assignment last week. The 24-year-old third baseman will presumably require at least a handful of additional tune-up contests to get back up to speed before returning to Minnesota. This was certainly a step in the right direction as he works his way back from a severe quad strain that sent him to the injured list back on Opening Day. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:26 pm

    • Kodai Senga plays catch on field Tuesday
Kodai Senga (shoulder) played catch on the field prior to the doubleheader against the Dodgers on Tuesday.

Advice: It’s the first time that Senga has been able to play catch since he was shut down with inflammation in his triceps. The right-hander has been on the 60-day injured list since the start of the season because of shoulder issues, and the expectation now is that Senga won’t be able to return for the Mets — and fantasy players — until around the All-Star break. • Likely out until All-Star break
Senga (shoulder) may not be ready to return from the 60-day injured list until after the All-Star break, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

Advice: The right-hander has had a couple delays and setbacks during his recovery from a posterior right capsule strain. After getting a cortisone injection late last week, Senga played catch on flat ground for the first time Tuesday, per Anthony DiComo of MLB.com. Still, the 31-year-old is essentially back to square one with his throwing program. Given that Senga will likely need about six weeks to ramp back up and get game ready, a mid-July return would seem to be the best-case scenario. Manager Carlos Mendoza acknowledged Monday that it's difficult to put a timeline on Senga's return from the IL. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:38 am
