    • Throws seven high-quality innings
Webb did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing one run (none earned) on three hits and a walk over seven innings against the Mets. He struck out eight.

Advice: The lone unearned run Webb allowed was set up by his own error, but he was lights-out otherwise with a season-high eight strikeouts and left the game in line for the win. The outing dropped Webb's ERA to 2.74 with a 1.26 WHIP across 72.1 innings. His next scheduled start is slated for next weekend when the Giants host the Yankees. Rotowire.com Sunday, 5:29 pm

    • Completes live BP session
Williams (elbow) threw a live batting practice session Friday and will throw another live BP in the coming days, MLB.com reports.

Advice: If all goes well during Williams' upcoming live BP session, manager Stephen Vogt said the right-hander would head out on a minor-league rehab assignment later this week. Williams has been on the shelf all season with right elbow discomfort, which first surfaced when he made an awkward throw during a weighted-ball workout in spring training. • Logan Webb strikes out eight in no-decision
Logan Webb struck out eight Mets across seven innings on Sunday. He allowed three hits and walked just one.

Advice: Webb was in complete control in this one despite allowing a good bit of hard contact. The Mets swung and missed 11 times at his sinker alone and his eight strikeouts marked a season high. A win seemed all but cinched before Tyler Rogers imploded in the ninth inning. Webb has been one of the best pitchers in baseball in the early going. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:12 pm

    • Another quality start Saturday
Gilbert gave up one run on three hits over six innings in a no-decision against the Nationals on Saturday. He struck out four without walking a batter.

Advice: Gilbert allowed a run in the second inning on a couple singles, a stolen base and a sacrifice fly, but that was the extent of the damage. While his efforts weren't rewarded with a win, Gilbert continued his run of strong pitching with a third consecutive quality start since his eight-run hiccup in Minnesota on May 9. Gilbert is tied with Jose Berrios and Seth Lugo for the most quality starts in baseball this season with nine in 11 turns to date. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:48 pm

    • Annihilates Houston, nabs save
Miller notched his 10th save of the season Saturday, striking out the side in a 4-1 win over the Astros.

Advice: Miller was coming off his worst appearance of the season his last time out against the Rockies, but he had no such trouble in this one. The flamethrower needed 15 pitches to dispose of the Astros in order, topping out at 102.2 mph with his fastball. Miller has struck out multiple batters in 14 of 18 outings this season. • Mason Miller strikes out side in save vs. Astros
Mason Miller struck out the side to pick up the save and help the Athletics to a 3-1 win over the Astros on Saturday.

Advice: How can you not be impressed with what Miller has done? The right-hander threw 15 pitches while fanning the side, and it’s nice to see after he blew the save Thursday against the Rockies while allowing five runs — three of those earned. Miller will have some limitations based on Oakland not being very good and Oakland being very careful with the right-hander, but simply put, he has as good of stuff as any reliever in baseball. • Gilbert gives up just one run over six in no-decision
Logan Gilbert allowed just one run in six innings while striking out four in a no-decision Saturday against the Nationals.

Advice: It was surprising to see Gilbert done after just six innings, as he threw only 78 pitches in the contest. The right-hander gave up just three hits, and two of those were of the infield variety. Gilbert was shaky against New York on Monday, but this was much more in line with what the 27-year-old has shown for the majority of the season. He takes a 3.06 ERA into a start scheduled for Thursday against the Astros. Rotoworld Saturday, 3:28 pm

    • Gavin Williams (elbow) starting rehab assignment
Gavin Williams (elbow) will start a minor league rehab assignment this week.

Advice: Williams hasn’t thrown a pitch this season for Cleveland after suffering an elbow injury back in spring training when he made an awkward throw during a weighted-ball workout. The 24-year-old former top prospect will require at least a handful of rehab outings to build up his pitch count and stamina prior to making his season debut. Rotoworld Saturday, 12:48 pm

    • Throws six shutout innings
Rodon (6-2) earned the win Friday over the Padres, pitching six shutout innings while allowing three hits and three walks with two strikeouts.

Advice: Rodon wasn't dominant, but the Padres' offense didn't find much success. This was a fourth straight quality start for the southpaw, who has won all of those outings while allowing just five runs over 24.1 innings. Rodon has had just one bad start this season -- May 2 in Baltimore, when he got tagged for six earned runs over four innings. He has a 2.95 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 57:19 K:BB over 61 innings through 11 starts on the season. The 31-year-old is projected to make his next start on the road versus the Angels in a favorable matchup.
