    • Heading to bench Wednesday
Jimenez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: Jimenez experienced a brief scare when he experienced some soreness in his hamstring in his first game back from the injured list in Sunday's 11-2 loss to the Tigers, but he proceeded to serve as the White Sox's designated hitter in both of the first two games of the series with the Dodgers. He went 2-for-9 between the two contests, smacking a double while driving in a run. Jimenez didn't report any setbacks with the hamstring coming out of either game against the Dodgers, so he's likely just getting a planned day off Wednesday. Rotowire.com 21 minutes ago

    • Cal Raleigh lifts Mariners to victory over Rays
Cal Raleigh clobbered a three-run homer on Wednesday, leading the Mariners to a 5-2 victory over the Rays.

Advice: Raleigh put Seattle ahead for good in a low-scoring series finale at Tropicana Field by walloping a gargantuan 422-foot dinger to right field off Rays reliever Shawn Armstrong in the sixth inning. It was his lone hit of the contest, but he also drew a pair of walks as well. The 27-year-old backstop remains a liability in the batting average department, but he’s up to 14 big flies already and is on pace for his second consecutive 30-homer campaign. • Slugs 14th homer
Raleigh went 1-for-2 with a three-run home run and two walks in Wednesday's 5-2 win over Tampa Bay.

Advice: The Mariners had gone scoreless through five until Raleigh connected for the deciding hit of the game. His 14th homer of the season ties him for the MLB lead in the position, tied with Shea Langeliers and Adley Rutschman. Raleigh now has two home runs in his last three games after a stretch in which he only hit one over 29 games. Rotowire.com Today, 12:17 pm

    • Idle Wednesday
McCormick is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rockies.

Advice: After starting each of the last three games, McCormick will be the odd man out of the Astros outfield on Wednesday with Houston clearing a spot in left field for Yordan Alvarez, who typically serves as the team's designated hitter. McCormick could be forced to the bench on a more frequent basis once Kyle Tucker (shin) returns from the injured list, though it's not yet clear when Tucker might rejoin the big club while he rehab program has proceeded more slowly than anticipated. • Swats homer Tuesday
Soto went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, an additional run and two walks in Tuesday's loss to the Mets.

Advice: Soto plated the Yankees' first run with his solo shot in the fifth inning, though the Mets had already built a big lead by that time. The long ball was the first extra-base hit over the outfielder's past eight games, and he's batted an uncharacteristically poor .160 (4-for-25) during that stretch. Soto has continued to reach base consistently, however, due to his willingness to take a walk -- across the eight-game span, he's accumulated an 11:6 BB:K, and he leads the league with 65 total walks on the season. • Drives in four at Fenway
Guerrero went 2-for-5 with two doubles, a run scored and four RBI in Tuesday's 9-4 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: He did get charged with two errors, but Guerrero made up for his fielding gaffes with two-run doubles in the third and fourth innings. The first baseman is red hot, slashing .349/.364/.628 over the last 10 games with three doubles, three homers and 10 RBI. Rotowire.com Today, 5:59 am
    • Three-game hitting streak
Jimenez went 1-for-5 with a double and an RBI on Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Jimenez started in his third consecutive game since being activated from the injured list Sunday, and he has one hit in each contest. His performance Tuesday marked his first extra-base hit in that span, and he also has one RBI and one run scored. Jimenez has hit either third or fourth in every game since his return. • Converts 10th save
Sewald allowed a hit in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Twins.

Advice: Sewald needed 17 pitches (nine strikes) to close out this contest, earning his 10th save in as many chances this year. He's on a 13.2-inning scoreless streak -- the only run he's allowed this year came in his season debut after he started the year on the injured list. Sewald has maintained a stellar 0.61 ERA, 0.55 WHIP and 12:3 K:BB over 14.2 innings this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:00 pm
    • Paul Sewald notches 10th save against Twins
Paul Sewald recorded his 10th save with a scoreless ninth inning Tuesday against the Twins.

Advice: Sewald gave up a two-out double to Byron Buxton, putting the tying run on base. Ryan Jeffers followed with a stinging liner to left, but it was hit right to Lourdes Gurriel Jr., ending the game. Statcast’s xBA, which only takes into account exit velocity and launch angle, said it had a 94% chance of becoming a hit. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:17 pm
