    • Provides offense Sunday
Hoerner went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 7-1 loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Hoerner led off the contest with a solo home run, his fourth long ball of the season and second in the last four games. However, he didn't do anything else the rest of the afternoon, while the team as a whole mustered only one additional hit. Still, Hoerner managed to extend his hitting streak to eight games, and he's batting .344 during that stretch. The infielder should remain a viable fantasy option from the top of the order so long as he stays locked in at the plate. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:18 pm

    • Gunnar Henderson strikes out four times
Gunnar Henderson lost his 36-game on-base streak by striking out all four times up against the Rangers on Sunday.

Advice: All four strikeouts came against Andrew Heaney. It’s his first golden sombrero since Oct. 1, 2022. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:15 pm
    • Gunnar Henderson to take part in Home Run Derby
Gunnar Henderson announced on ESPN that he will participate in this year’s Home Run Derby.

Advice: Henderson added that it’ll be the first time he’s participated in a competitive Derby. The 23-year-old shortstop is currently tied for second in the majors with 26 homers. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:47 pm
    • Hoerner extends hitting streak with home run
Nico Hoerner went 1-for-4 with a solo home run against the Brewers on Sunday.

Advice: It was a quiet afternoon for the Cubs’ offense as they could only muster one run against the Brewers. Hoerner’s home run was just his fourth of the year. He’s hitting just .248 on the season, but has a hit in each of his last seven games. He’s 10-for-27 (.370) with two home runs and three RBI in that time. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:47 pm

    • Receiving Sunday off
Correa is out of the lineup for Sunday's game at Seattle.

Advice: The veteran shortstop was in the lineup the past two days after being hit by a pitch on the right wrist Thursday, but he'll receive a day off for Sunday's series finale. Correa didn't appear to be affected by the injury as he went 3-for-8 with a two-run homer and an additional run scored in the first two games of the series. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:14 am
    • Homers in Friday's loss
Correa went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 3-2 extra-inning loss to the Mariners.

Advice: Correa left Thursday's game with a bruised right wrist, but he didn't end up missing time. The homer was his ninth of the season and got him to the 40-RBI mark this year, though it was all the run production the Twins could muster in Friday's game. The shortstop has 12 multi-hit efforts over his last 21 games, going 36-for-83 (.434) in that span. For the year, he's at a .312/.381/.506 slash line across 64 contests. Rotowire.com Friday, 10:04 pm
    • Carlos Correa hits two-run homer vs. Mariners
Carlos Correa connected on a two-run homer in a loss to the Mariners on Friday.

Advice: The good run for Correa continues, as he broke up Logan Gilbert’s shutout in the sixth inning with a two-run blast over the field-field fence in the sixth inning. That’s nine homers now on the season for the 29-year-old, and he also produced a single in what has been an extraordinary June for Correa. Rotoworld Friday, 9:32 pm
    • Starting Friday
Correa (wrist) is playing shortstop and batting second Friday against Seattle.

Advice: Correa was removed from Thursday's game after being hit by a pitch, but his bruised right wrist won't force him to miss a start. He went 4-for-9 with four runs and two RBI during this week's series against Arizona. Rotowire.com Friday, 2:10 pm
    • Carlos Correa back in lineup on Friday vs. M’s
Carlos Correa (wrist) is in the lineup for Friday night’s series opener against the Mariners.

Advice: The 29-year-old shortstop was drilled in the right wrist by a fastball during Thursday’s game against the Diamondbacks. Correa told reporters afterwards that he was fine though and that he planned to play on Friday, and true to his word he’s in the lineup and batting second against Logan Gilbert and the M’s on Friday evening in Seattle. On the season, Correa is slashing a healthy .309/.380/.494 to go along with eight homers and 38 RBI in 267 plate appearances. Rotoworld Friday, 2:08 pm
