• Rebounds vs. San Diego
Nola didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Padres, allowing three runs on four hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Nola held San Diego scoreless through his first five innings before ultimately allowing three runs in the sixth, including a pair on a Luis Campusano homer. Still, it was a solid bounce-back outing overall for the 31-year-old Nola, who was tagged for eight runs in his last start against the Red Sox. Nola's 8-3 on the year with a 3.54 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 84:25 K:BB across 15 starts (94 innings). He's currently lined up to face the Tigers on the road early next week in his next outing. • Walker Buehler gives up seven runs to Rockies
Walker Buehler surrendered seven runs in four innings Tuesday in a no-decision against the Rockies.

Advice: Sigh. Buehler’s velocity tonight was his worst since his rejoined the roster, and he got just three missed swings in his 70 pitches. That he was hit in the hip by a comebacker might have played some role in his struggles. We wouldn’t go dropping Buehler, who is still in a terrific situation with the Dodgers, but his early results in his first six weeks back from Tommy John definitely haven’t been as encouraging as hoped. He’s surrendered 10 homers and posted a 5.84 ERA in 37 innings. Rotoworld 28 minutes ago

  • Collects another quality start
Lorenzen did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's 7-6 loss to the Mets, allowing three runs on four hits and one walk over six innings. He struck out three.

Advice: The veteran right-hander posted his sixth quality start in his last seven outings with this performance. Over that span dating back to May 13, Lorenzen has fired a 1.88 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 27:16 K:BB in 43 innings. He looks to keep his stellar work rolling in his next start, tentatively slated to come against the Brewers on the road. Rotowire.com 33 minutes ago
  • Short outing vs. Mariners
McKenzie (3-4) took the loss Tuesday against Seattle, allowing four runs on three hits and four walks over 2.1 innings without recording a strikeout.

Advice: After holding the Mariners scoreless through his first two innings, McKenzie allowed five of the first six batters to reach safely in the third, ultimately allowing four runs before the Guardians turned to the bullpen. The 26-year-old McKenzie has struggled of late -- he hasn't made it through six innings in five straight starts, posting a 7.04 ERA in that span. Overall, his ERA is up to 4.48 on the season with a 1.46 WHIP and 65:42 K:BB across 70.1 innings. He'll look to right the ship in his next outing, currently scheduled for this weekend at home versus Toronto. Rotowire.com 34 minutes ago

  • Shelled for six runs
Severino did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's 7-6 win over Texas, allowing six runs on eight hits and one walk over 6.1 innings. He struck out one.

Advice: After yielding just one run through four innings, the New York right-hander unraveled in the fifth, allowing five runs on five hits, including two homers. Severino also produced only five whiffs on his way to collecting a season-worst one strikeout. The 30-year-old's velocity on his entire arsenal was down in this outing, anchored by his sinker averaging 94.5 mph, down 1.2 mph. Severino is currently scheduled to make his next start against his former team -- the Yankees -- at home next week. Rotowire.com 58 minutes ago

  • Improves to 6-5
Miller (6-5) earned the win Tuesday against the Guardians, allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks over 5.2 innings. He struck out two.

Advice: It was another solid outing from Miller, who's now allowed just two earned runs over 12.2 innings in his last two starts. While he's been inconsistent at times this year, the 25-year-old Miller has turned in a respectable 3.46 ERA with a 1.01 WHIP and 82:26 K:BB across 15 starts (88.1 innings). Miller will look to keep rolling in his next outing, currently lined up for this weekend in Miami. Rotowire.com 59 minutes ago

  • Luis Severino gives up six runs to Rangers
Luis Severino was tagged for six runs in 6 1/3 innings by the Rangers on Tuesday.

Advice: Severino struck out one and gave up two homers, which is never a good ratio. His velocity was down a bit tonight, and he wound up with just five missed swings and a 17% CSW. As much twitter concern as there was about Severino after his season debut 2 1/2 months ago, this is probably his most discouraging outing of the season to date. We wouldn’t want to play him in his start against the Yankees next week. Rotoworld Today, 8:46 pm

  • Michael Lorenzen left with no-decision versus Mets
Michael Lorenzen pitched six innings of three-run ball against the Mets on Tuesday.

Advice: Lorenzen left with a three-run lead, but the Texas bullpen couldn’t hold on to it. One imagines he had higher expectations after joining the world champions, but the Rangers are now 4-8 when he pitches, even though his ERA stands at 3.00. Rotoworld Today, 8:46 pm
  • Fans eight in no-decision
Steele did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Giants, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks over 6.2 innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: The Chicago southpaw posted his third straight quality start as he generated 14 whiffs en route to eight punchouts, tying the season high he'd set May 27 against Milwaukee. The Giants managed to collect both runs against Steele on a fifth-inning double yielded to Curt Casali. Although Steele is still searching for his first win, he's been a dependable arm with a 3.16 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 56:15 K:BB over 57 innings this season. He's scheduled make his next start against the Giants again, but in San Francisco. Rotowire.com Today, 8:18 pm
