    Advice: It's the second two-homer game of Wong's career while his four hits matched a personal best. The 27-year-old catcher has been on fire lately, going 13-for-31 with four home runs in his last eight games while taking over the primary catching job in Boston. Wong's now slashing a solid .320/.327/.520 with three home runs (six shy of a career high), eight RBI and five runs scored across 51 plate appearances to open the campaign.     Elias Díaz went 2-for-4 with a solo homer on Wednesday against the Padres.

    Advice: After knocking a base hit in the fourth inning, Díaz hit his second home run of the season with a solo shot in the eighth. He got some help on this one as his deep fly ball bounced off the glove of Jackson Merrill and over the outfield wall. It counts all the same.     Korey Lee went 1-for-2 with a solo homer, a walk, and a stolen base on Wednesday against the Twins.

    Advice: Lee took Joe Ryan deep in the third inning for a solo blast, then drew a walk in the fifth. He stole second on a double steal with Braden Shewmake stealing home to score a run. It was the second homer and first steal for the 25-year-old backstop. He’s slashing a solid .256/.310/.462 across 42 plate appearances as he splits time with Martín Maldonado.     Connor Wong finished 4-for-4 with two homers and three RBI as the Red Sox shut out the Guardians 8-0 on Wednesday.

    Advice: Wong already had nice numbers coming into this one, but Statcast thought he was one of the league’s biggest overachievers. Tonight’s performance was legit, though; his homers traveled 416 and 397 feet, and one of his two singles left the bat at 107.7 mph. He’s now batting .370/.386/.660, which is pretty good for a guy who was taking a backseat to Reese McGuire two weeks ago. We still wouldn’t look at him as a solution in one-catcher mixed leagues.     Murphy (oblique) was able to catch bullpen sessions Tuesday and Wednesday but has yet to resume swinging a bat, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

    Advice: Murphy's ability to throw at full strength while donning his full catching equipment represents a positive step forward in his recovery from a Grade 1 left oblique strain, but until he starts swinging the bat again, his return from the 10-day injured list shouldn't be viewed as imminent.
