    • Swipes bag Friday
Burleson went 1-for-5 with a walk and a stolen base in Friday's 7-6 extra-innings win over the Nationals.

Advice: Burleson is heating up again, going 7-for-21 (.333) over his last five games. The steal was his first since June 23, and he's offered decent speed for a player best known for his power. The 25-year-old is slashing .281/.317/.459 with 13 home runs, six steals, 42 RBI, 34 runs scored and 11 doubles over 301 plate appearances this year. Rotowire.com Today, 10:18 am

    • Records ninth steal
Winn went 1-for-6 with a stolen base and two runs scored in Friday's 7-6 extra-innings win over the Nationals.

Advice: Winn hadn't recorded a steal since June 4, though he has nine thefts on 12 attempts this season. The shortstop is hitting .279 (17-for-61) over his last 14 games, a slight dip from his .291 batting average overall. He's added a .756 OPS, four home runs, 29 RBI, 35 runs scored, 18 doubles and three triples over 79 contests. Rotowire.com Today, 10:16 am

    • Plates pair in victory
Raley went 1-for-3 with a two-run double in a win over the Blue Jays on Friday.

Advice: Raley's third-inning two-bagger -- only his second extra-base hit in the last nine games -- brought home Julio Rodriguez and Cal Raleigh with what would be the only runs of the night for Seattle. Raley's recent lack of pop has been accompanied by plenty of struggles making any type of contact, as he owns a bloated 39.4 percent strikeout rate and an accompanying lowly .161 average over that aforementioned nine-game span. • Finishes off Yankees
Rafaela went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Friday's 5-3 extra-inning win over the Yankees.

Advice: Rafaela put the final touch on the Yankees, as the Red Sox hit two-run home runs in the ninth and 10th innings to steal a win at Yankee Stadium. It was the 10th homer for Rafaela, whose slow start to the season is in the past. The young outfielder/shortstop is batting .348/.375/.522 with five doubles, a triple, three home runs, 16 RBI and three steals over the last 24 games. Rotowire.com Today, 7:15 am

    • Swipes 43rd bag
De La Cruz went 1-for-2 with two walks, a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Tigers.

Advice: It marked the first time since June 16 that the 22-year-old drew multiple free passes, while the stolen base was his league-leading 43rd of the year -- 15 ahead of second-place Brice Turang. De La Cruz can be streaky, but he's red hot right now, slashing .352/.417/.704 over his last 13 games with 10 extra-base hits (four doubles, three triples and three homers), six steals, eight RBI and 13 runs. • Struggles after rain delay
Houck came away with a no-decision in Friday's 5-3 extra-inning win over the Yankees, giving up three runs (one earned) on two hits and four walks over 3.1 innings. He struck out one.

Advice: The right-hander was looking sharp early, but a 38-minute rain delay in the middle of the third inning caused Houck to lose his focus and he fell apart completely in the fourth. He's winless in his last four starts, stumbling to a 5.40 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 17:8 K:BB through 20 innings over that stretch, but he figures to bounce back in his next outing, which lines up to come at home next week against Oakland. • Pummels three homers
Smith went 3-for-3 with three solo home runs, two walks and four total runs scored in Friday's 8-5 win over the Brewers.

Advice: Smith hit just two homers in June, so he's already off to a fantastic start in July. The catcher went to the opposite field for his first-inning blast before pulling his solo shots in the third and seventh innings. Smith is up to a .276/.349/.502 slash line with 14 homers, 53 RBI, 45 runs scored, 18 doubles and one triple over 73 contests this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:24 pm

    • Second straight poor start
Glasnow allowed five runs on three hits and two walks while striking out seven over six innings in a no-decision versus the Brewers on Friday.

Advice: All of the damage came in the fourth inning between a Willy Adames RBI single and a Rhys Hoskins grand slam. Glasnow has allowed five runs in back-to-back starts, though he's avoided the loss in both of those outings. For the season, he has a 3.47 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 143:29 K:BB through 109 innings over 18 starts. He's projected to make his next start at Detroit rather than Philadelphia due to the Dodgers inserting Justin Wrobleski into the rotation for a spot start Sunday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:13 pm
    • Ceddanne Rafaela homers in 10th to lead Red Sox
After Masataka Yoshida’s homer tied it in the ninth, Ceddanne Rafaela hit a two-run homer in the 10th to propel the Red Sox past the Yankees 5-3 on Friday.

Advice: Yoshida hit a game-tying homer off Clay Holmes, and Rafaela followed with a go-ahead blast off Tommy Kahnle in the 10th. It was Rafaela’s 10th homer, which is impressive for a 23-year-old with such middling exit velocity numbers. Better plate discipline would be nice, but since Rafaela has proved adept at shortstop and in center field, he seems like a long to become a long-term regular. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:58 pm
