    • Earns fourth win
Adam (4-1) didn't allow a baserunner and struck out one to earn the win Wednesday against the Twins.

Advice: Adam entered the game in the ninth inning with the score tied 2-2 and turned in his eighth scoreless performance in his last 10 appearances. He has a 9:1 K:BB in that span, though he has allowed three earned runs. While Pete Fairbanks (thumb) isn't expected to be sidelined long, Adam could get a short-term look in save scenarios. • Homers again Wednesday
Lewis went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in an extra-inning loss to the Rays on Wednesday.

Advice: Lewis racked up three of the Twins' nine hits and accounted for their final run of the contest with a solo shot to left field in the fifth inning. The 25-year-old third baseman continues to swing a potent bat, as he's gone deep eight times across just 57 plate appearances this season. He doesn't have nearly enough plate appearances to qualify, but Lewis' .848 slugging percentage on the season would lead MLB by a wide margin if he did. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:15 pm

    • Homers, steals two bases in win
Duran went 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and two steals in a 7-3 win over the Blue Jays on Wednesday.

Advice: Duran hit a solo home run off Kevin Gausman in the fifth inning then added an RBI single and a steal in the sixth. He later stole another base after reaching on a fielder's choice in the eighth. Duran extended his hitting streak to 10 games and has hit .356 with three homers and eight steals in June. On the season, he is hitting .277 with six home runs and 19 steals hitting leadoff for the Red Sox. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:54 pm

    • Royce Lewis homers again in loss to Rays
Royce Lewis clubbed his eighth home run of the season on Wednesday night, but it wasn’t enough for the Twins to overcome the Rays in extra innings.

Advice: The 25-year-old superstar did his damage in the fifth inning, tagging Taj Bradley for a 410-foot (108.7 mph EV) solo shot that gave the Twins a 2-1 advantage. That would wind up being the extent of their offense. He also singled twice in the ballgame, finishing the night 3-for-4. On the season, he’s slashing an absurd .380/.439/.900 to go along with the eight homers and 12 RBI in just 56 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:57 pm

    • Jarren Duran homers, steals two bags
Jarren Duran went 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBI, and two stolen bases against the Blue Jays on Wednesday.

Advice: Duran’s long ball gave the Red Sox a lead and they wouldn’t let go as he continued his do-it-all season in this one. He’s pacing for about 15 homers, 40 steals, 100 runs scored, and 70 RBI in what would be a phenomenal year for the young outfielder. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:11 pm

    • Should be available Thursday
Fairbanks said his bruised right thumb "felt within the realm of good" after playing catch Wednesday, and he expects to be available for Thursday's series finale in Minnesota, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: The right-hander departed Tuesday's contest after being struck in the thumb by a comebacker, but it appears he's avoided a serious injury. Jason Adam, Garrett Cleavinger and Colin Poche will likely all be in the mix if a save opportunity arises Wednesday, but Fairbanks should be back on the mound for the Rays within the next couple days. • Pete Fairbanks (thumb) expects to return Thursday
Pete Fairbanks (thumb) played catch on Wednesday and noted that, “everything felt within the realm of good”.

Advice: He won’t be available out of the Rays’ bullpen on Wednesday night, but he hopes that he’ll be ready to go on Thursday. Should a save situation arise on Wednesday, expect either Jason Adam or Garrett Cleavinger to get the nod. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:31 pm

    • Goes yard twice in loss
Harper went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Padres.

Advice: The 31-year-old slugger supplied all the Phillies' offense on the afternoon, taking Matt Waldron deep in the third inning before pulling a Jeremiah Estrada splitter down the right-field line in the eighth. Harper has caught fire in June, hitting safely in 10 of the last 11 games while batting .372 (16-for-43). The surge has boosted his slash line on the season to .285/.391/.539 with 17 homers, four steals, 45 runs and 48 RBI in 69 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:07 pm

    • Takes part in pregame throwing
Fairbanks (thumb) was spotted throwing long toss and playing catch on the field prior to Wednesday's game in Minnesota, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: The Rays haven't disclosed whether Fairbanks will be available out of the bullpen Wednesday, but his ability to take part in some pregame throwing work one day after being lifted from his appearance in Tuesday's 7-6 loss at least offers hope that he'll avoid a stint on the injured list. After being struck in his pitching hand by a 103-mph comebacker off the bat of Carlos Correa, Fairbanks was diagnosed with a bruised right thumb after X-rays returned negative.
