    • Royce Lewis homers in both halves of doubleheader
Royce Lewis clobbered a two-run homer in the first inning on Sunday night as the Twins took both games of their doubleheader against the Athletics.

Advice: The 25-year-old superstar got things started with a bang in this one, demolishing a 427-foot (104.6 mph EV) two-run shot off of Joey Estes in the opening inning. He also homered in the first game of the doubleheader and has now slugged seven long balls in his first 12 games on the season. Lewis finished the night 1-for-3 with a pair of walks and two runs scored and is now slashing a laughable .390/.447/.951 with seven homers and 11 RBI. Rotoworld 31 minutes ago

    • Collects 10th save
Fairbanks worked a scoreless ninth to earn the save Sunday against Atlanta. He walked one and struck out two.

Advice: Fairbanks worked around a leadoff walk in the ninth, striking out Ozzie Albies to secure his 10th save in 11 opportunities. Fairbanks' performance came on the heels of allowing his first earned run on Saturday since mid-April, a span of 15 outings. For the season he holds a 3.13 ERA and 1.30 WHIP over 23 innings with 25 strikeouts. Rotowire.com 53 minutes ago
    • K's season-high seven
Eflin did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits and one walk against Atlanta. He struck out seven.

Advice: Eflin entered the sixth inning with a four-run lead but after retiring the first two batters of the inning, allowed four-consecutive singles, and was removed one-out shy of completing six full innings. The seven strikeouts marked a season high for Eflin, who had failed to record more than three strikeouts during any of his previous five starts. He'll carry a 4.12 ERA and 1.17 WHIP into his next start, currently slated to take place over the weekend when the Rays travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Pirates. • On bench for nightcap
Jeffers is not in the starting lineup for Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader with the Athletics.

Advice: Jeffers will get a breather after he went 1-for-4 in the team's 6-2 win over Oakland in Game 1. Christian Vazquez will take over behind the plate and bat eighth in the nightcap. Rotowire.com Today, 2:56 pm

    • Blasts leadoff homer
Lindor went 1-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and two runs in Sunday's 11-6 win over the Padres.

Advice: On the third pitch he saw, Lindor took Dylan Cease deep for his first leadoff homer since 2019. It was his 12th home run this season and the third in his last nine games. Lindor has been on a steady climb for about a month now with an average of .303 over his last 25 games. After his slow start, the shortstop is now carrying a .231/.305/.420 slash line with 12 homers, 34 RBI and 11 steals for the season. Rotowire.com Today, 2:26 pm
    • Lewis blasts sixth home run in win Sunday
Royce Lewis went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk against the Athletics on Sunday.

Advice: Lewis continues to mash the ball since returning from the injured list. He’s now hit six home runs in 42 plate appearances this season. It’s a tiny sample size, but he’s hitting .395 with a .526 ISO on the year.

    • Alec Bohm with three more hits Sunday
Alec Bohm went 3-for-4 with a double, walk, and two runs batted in on Sunday against the Orioles.

Advice: April Bohm is back. He had eight hits and five RBI this weekend in Baltimore without striking out as he continues in what’s been a true breakout season for the third basemen. His 57 RBI are second most in the National League, behind only Marcell Ozuna. Rotoworld Today, 1:45 pm

    • Pete Fairbanks locked down Braves for save
Pete Fairbanks struck out two and walked one en route to his 10th save of the season on Sunday.

Advice: Fairbanks has been solid since returning from the IL last month with six saves in as many chances. It’s worth keeping an eye on his walk rate though as it’s inched up over 12%, the highest mark of his career. Rotoworld Today, 1:27 pm
    • Zach Eflin strikes out seven in no-decision
Zach Eflin allowed three earned runs in 5 2/3 innings on Sunday against the Braves. He allowed seven hits while walking one and striking out seven.

Advice: Eflin continues to flash the brilliance he showed last season while faltering in key moments. He cruised through five innings after a lead-off home run by Jarred Kelenic but unraveled with two outs in the sixth. It’s frustrating to see him fall one out shy of the quality start while the bullpen blew his win despite objectively pitching well against Atlanta. His ERA sits at 4.12 on the season.
