    • Evan Phillips improves to 10-for-10 in saves
Evan Phillips turned in a hitless ninth with a three-run lead for a save Sunday against the Royals.

Advice: Phillips had one rough outing in his second appearance back from the injured list, but he’s been lights out otherwise. This one made him 10-for-10 in save chances and put his ERA back under 2.00 at 1.93. Rotoworld Today, 3:46 pm

    • Six strong innings
Parker (5-3) picked up the win Sunday against Miami, allowing one earned run on six hits and zero walks while striking out four over six innings.

Advice: Parker's excellent rookie season continued as he turned in another quality start, his fourth over his past six games. During that span, the southpaw has pitched to a 3.03 ERA, a 1.04 WHIP and a 25:8 K:BB across 35.2 innings. While Parker doesn't typically post high-strikeout totals, he has been remarkably consistent all season, allowing three earned runs or fewer in all 12 of his starts. He will look to keep the success going in his next start, currently scheduled for next weekend at Coors Field. Rotowire.com Today, 2:14 pm
    • Parker picks up fifth win against Marlins Sunday
Mitchell Parker allowed one run in six innings and got the win in the Nationals’ 3-1 victory over the Marlins on Sunday.

Advice: Parker gave up six hits, walked none and struck out three. The win was his fifth of the year. It was also Parker’s fifth quality start in 12 starts this year. His ERA is 3.06 on the year despite a 4.02 xFIP. Parker does everything well except get a lot of strikeouts. He has a 42 percent ground ball percentage. Parker’s allowed 0.80 HR/9 and 2.00 BB/9. He’s doing everything he can to prop up an 18 percent strikeout percentage, which gives him a fragile profile. The 24-year-old left-hander is set to face the Rockies on the road next week.

    • Making seventh straight start
Pillar will start in center field and bat cleanup in Sunday's game against the Giants, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.

Advice: Pillar will pick up his seventh straight start and may have pushed his way into a near-everyday role in the Angels outfield while he's been at a heater at the plate for more than a month now. Dating back to May 7, Pillar is slashing .351/.394/.629 with six home runs, four stolen bases, 24 RBI and 21 runs in 27 games. Pillar's much more modest offensive outputs over parts of the previous 11 seasons in the big leagues suggest he won't be able to maintain his current level of production for much longer, but fantasy managers should ride the wave while it lasts. • On bench against righty
Joe is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

Advice: Joe is sitting against a right-handed starting pitcher (Dakota Hudson) for the second time in four games, perhaps indicating that his standing as an everyday player could be on shaky ground. After producing a .794 OPS through the first two months of the season, Joe is slashing .167/.271/.310 since the beginning of June. Rotowire.com Today, 11:48 am

    • Sitting out Sunday
Meyers is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.

Advice: Meyers is hitless so far in the series, though he flashed the leather Friday with an incredible catch to rob Riley Greene of a homer. That defense will keep him in the lineup most days and afford him time to build on his nice start at the dish (.254/.315/.414). Meyers has already set a new career high with six steals and is on pace for a new career high in home runs. Rotowire.com Today, 9:45 am

    • Two doubles, stolen base in win
McMahon went 2-for-5 with two doubles, an RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 16-4 win over the Pirates.

Advice: McMahon doubled in his third trip to the plate and advanced to third on a sacrifice fly before then stealing home to increase Colorado's lead to five runs. The third baseman would add an RBI double in the eighth, giving him his sixth multi-base hit over his last four games. McMahon has also recorded multiple hits and scored two runs in three of his last four contests. Rotowire.com Today, 8:33 am

    • Homer, two hits in win
DeJong went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: DeJong put the White Sox ahead with a leadoff home run in the top of the fourth and added a single in the following frame, giving him his second straight multi-hit game. The shortstop is now up to 14 home runs on the campaign, with six of them coming this month and four coming over his last eight games. DeJong has also recorded multiple hits in six of his last nine contests. Rotowire.com Today, 8:20 am

    • Picks up 10th win
Lugo (10-2) picked up the win over the Dodgers on Saturday, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk over six innings while striking out four.

Advice: Lugo did a great job of working his way out of trouble for most of the contest, with the exception of the fourth inning when he allowed back-to-back hits to open the frame and also hit Jason Heyward with a pitch before eventually surrendering two runs. The right-hander would allow just two more hits over his final two innings of work, notching his 11th quality start of the season and his first this month. Lugo is now tied with Ranger Suarez for the major league lead in wins with 10 and has gone at least six innings in five consecutive outings. Rotowire.com Today, 7:23 am
