Willingham is fifth in the American League with 27 walks. Despite recent struggles, he has a four-game hitting streak and three long flies during those contests. Now is probably the time to buy low.

Advice: Stubbs merits as an everyday right fielder can be debated, but he is hitting better than he did last year, with a .255/.304/.403 line through 149 at-bats. And fortunately for his fantasy owners, the Indians lineup has been better than expected, giving him more chances to score and drive in runs from the ninth spot than anticipated.

Advice: Jackson landed on the disabled list earlier this month with a strained left hamstring, but we haven't heard much about his progress. Advice: "He looked good," manager Mike Redmond said afterward. "I'm just going off the results. He was hitting them out. It's another encouraging sign that he's a little closer to being back on the field." Stanton has been on the disabled list since April 30 and is still without a timetable. The best guess is that he's activated around mid-June.

Advice: Brantley did all his damage with three singles, bringing his RBI count to 24 and his batting average to .309 in the process. And the left fielder is 7-for-16 (.438) in his last four games with nine RBI in those 16 at-bats. The 26-year-old is well on his way to an encore of a 2012 season in which he hit .288 with 37 doubles.

Advice: The longball came in the second inning off of Felix Hernandez. It's just the second homer of the season for Brantley, who was hitting third in the batting order. The outfielder has now driven in 19 while hitting .301 as he quietly puts together a nice season.

Advice: Eaton was recently pulled off his minor league rehab assignment due to renewed discomfort in his elbow. Towers said an MRI showed fluid around his ulnar collateral ligament, but no new damage was found. As of now, he's expected to rest for 2-3 weeks before restarting his rehab program, but he'll get Andrews' opinion just to be on the safe side.

Advice: Bad news. Eaton, who was diagnosed with a sprained ulnar collateral ligament in March, began playing in rehab games earlier this month and felt well enough to return to center field last week. However, the pain has returned. The worst-case scenario would be season-ending Tommy John surgery, but it's not clear if that's a consideration yet. But it's obviously a concern.

Advice: It's the first time he's played the field during his rehab assignment, as he had been limited to DH duty. Eaton was scheduled to play the field again on Saturday before being re-evaluated by the Diamondbacks. He should be activated before the end of the month. Manager Kirk Gibson said he's "not really worried about" finding enough playing time for all the members of a deep group of outfielders. "If we have guys, we'll find places for them to play," the manager added.

Bryce Harper and Justin Upton would seem to have great shots of being voted in as starters, which would leave just one spot for Gonzalez, Ryan Braun, Andrew McCutchen and a handful of other strong candidates. Gonzalez is hitting .302 with 11 homers and eight steals in eight attempts. He's also on pace to smash his career high in walks with 26 in 45 games so far.

Advice: Gordon is currently enjoying a nine-game hitting streak in which he's hitting .514 (18-for-35) with four doubles. He's now batting .352/.384/.536 through 42 games, and his move to the No. 3 hole seems to be permanent. The Royals' most consistent hitter and one of the hottest hitters in the league, the 29-year-old could be looking at a career year.

Murphy appears to be finally healthy after missing time last week with a lower back injury.

And in favor of Scott Van Slyke, no less. Either way, Mattingly sounds like someone who is feeling the pressure of his team's struggles. This could be the beginning of the end for him in Los Angeles.
