    • Christian Vázquez hits game-winning home run
Christian Vázquez went 2-for-4 with three RBI, and a game-winning home run in a 3-2 win over the Astros on Sunday.

Advice: Vázquez greeted Josh Hader with a 362-foot line drive home run to win the game for the Twins. He also had an RBI single in the second inning and an RBI groundout in the fourth, accounting for all of Minnesota’s runs. That’s the veteran’s fourth home run of the season to go along with 16 RBIs. He remains behind Ryan Jeffers in the pecking order behind the dish in Minnesota, but with Jeffers struggling of late, that could open up playing time for Vázquez. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:24 pm
    • Miguel Amaya goes 2-for-3 in return to lineup
Back in the lineup for the first time in four days, Miguel Amaya went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI on Sunday.

Advice: He made a bad out on the basepaths, but we won’t worry about that. The multi-hit game is first since May 28. The Cubs held him out for three straight games to work on his swing some. For one day, at least, it seemed to pay off. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:12 pm
    • Naylor has huge pinch-hit home run
Bo Naylor went 1-for-2 with a pinch-hit three-run home run in a win over the Giants on Sunday.

Advice: Naylor was called on to hit for Austin Hedges in the sixth inning with the Guardians trailing 3-2. He responded with a 378-foot home run that gave the Guardians a lead they would never give up. The 24-year-old is hitting just .205 on the season with five home runs, so he’ll need to do this a little more often to get back on the fantasy radar. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:52 pm

    • Willson Contreras smacks another home run in win
Willson Contreras went 2-for-5 with a home run, three RBI, two runs scored, and a stolen base in the Cardinals’ 8-3 win over the Nationals on Sunday.

Advice: Contreras has picked up right where he left off since returning from the IL. His home run was scorched at 108.9 MPH and even his single was sizzled at 105.4 MPH. Few players, let alone catchers, hit the ball as hard and as consistently as Contreras. He’s on pace to put together a huge second half. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:49 pm
    • Receiving breather Sunday
Contreras is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: Contreras started the past 12 games after missing one contest due to a head injury, and he'll take a seat Sunday after he posted a .319/.396/.468 slash line during that stretch. It's just his fourth game out of the lineup this season. Eric Haase will step in behind the plate to catch for veteran lefty Dallas Keuchel. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:28 pm
    • Retreating to bench Sunday
Higashioka is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Though Luis Campusano was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Friday, Higashioka started behind the plate in the Padres' first two games of the series against Arizona. Higashioka will take a seat for Sunday's day game, but his usage earlier in the week could indicate that he'll retain the No. 1 job ahead of Campusano, even though the latter player is now healthy. Over his last 12 games, Higashioka has hit .310 with seven extra-base hits (five home runs, one triple, one double) and three walks. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:28 pm
    • Not in Sunday's lineup
Diaz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals, Luke Zahlmann of The Denver Gazette reports.

Advice: The 33-year-old started all seven games since he returned from the injured list last weekend, though he's still experienced a bit of tightness in his calf since being activated and hasn't pushed himself while running the bases. There's been no report that Diaz has further aggravated the injury, so his absence from the lineup Sunday is likely just a maintenance day. Jacob Stallings is receiving a turn behind the plate in the series finale. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:47 am

    • Luis Campusano starting for first time since activation
Luis Campusano is catching and hitting ninth against the Diamondbacks on Sunday.

Advice: Campusano was activated off the injured list Friday, but this is his first time in the starting lineup since he was reinstated. Kyle Higashioka retreats to the bench with Campusano in the starting nine. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:32 am
    • Hitting bench Sunday
Nido is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Advice: Miguel Amaya is behind the dish for Sunday's series finale, but Nido appears to have at least temporarily settled on top of the depth chart at catcher after he was initially part of a timeshare at the position upon signing with the Cubs on June 19. Nido had started each of the past three games, going 2-for-10 with a double, two runs and an RBI. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:16 am
