    • Sitting down Saturday
Bader isn't in the Mets' lineup for Saturday's game against the Marlins.

Advice: Bader was held hitless in four at-bats during the Mets' first game back from the All-Star break, and he'll now take a seat Saturday against Roddery Munoz. Jeff McNeil, Brandon Nimmo and DJ Stewart will start from left to right in New York's outfield. Rotowire.com Today, 9:29 am

    • Used in eighth inning Friday
Foley pitched a clean eighth inning in Friday's 5-4 win over the Blue Jays, with Tyler Holton working the ninth for the save.

Advice: After Beau Brieske started the eighth inning by allowing a single, a home run and another single, the Tigers turned to Foley. He managed to retire Vladimir Guerrero, Justin Turner and Leo Jimenez in order to maintain Detroit's lead and ultimately earn a hold. While Foley might move around some due to matchups, he should still be considered the team's top option for saves, though both Holton and Shelby Miller are waiting in the wings as needed. The fluid situation depresses Foley's fantasy value a bit compared to other closers. Rotowire.com Today, 9:11 am

    • Perfect day at dish
Witt went 3-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Friday's win over the White Sox.

Advice: Witt picked up where he left off after a terrific first half by belting a solo homer in the first inning. He later knocked an RBI single in the third and scored another run during the Royals' five-run fifth. Witt has been unstoppable over the last few weeks; in 13 games since June 30, he's slashing .471/.482/.863 with nine extra-base hits. For the season, Witt owns a .944 OPS with 65 RBI, 22 steals, and 17 home runs through 429 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 5:08 am
    • Bobby Witt Jr. goes 3-for-3, hits 17th homer
Bobby Witt Jr. finished 3-for-3 with a homer, two RBI and a walk versus the White Sox on Friday.

Advice: Witt hit just one homer in his final 24 games in June, but this gives him five in 12 games in July. It’s a bummer that his stolen base pace has slowed — he has just one steal in a month — but 30/30 remains possible with him sitting at 17 homers and 22 steals through 98 games. • Anthony Santander homers twice, knocks in five
Anthony Santander went 3-for-5 with two homers and five RBI in leading the Orioles to a 9-1 trouncing of the Rangers on Friday.

Advice: It’s shaping up a quite the walk year for Santander, who just made his first All-Star team. He’s up to 26 homers, which is seven off his career high from 2022. His .826 OPS is 60 points better than his career mark and would be his career high, unless someone wants to count his .890 OPS from 37 games in 2020. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:46 pm
    • Zach Eflin gives up five runs to Yankees in loss
Zach Eflin surrendered five runs — four earned — in five innings Friday in a loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Eflin wasn’t hit overly hard, but he made his own trouble with an unusual four walks tonight. He had issued a total of nine walks in 99 1/3 innings coming into this one, but maybe the nine days’ rest threw him off a bit. He dropped to 5-7 with a 4.14 ERA in advance of his next start versus the Blue Jays. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:20 pm
    • Goes deep twice
Santander went 3-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI in Friday's win over Texas.

Advice: Santander belted a two-run shot in the fifth inning and capped off his day with a three-run blast in the seventh. He ended the first half with two home runs over his last 13 games and Friday was his first multi-homer effort since June 15. Santander is slashing .242/.305/.521 with 26 long balls and 63 RBI through 92 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:41 pm
    • Shaky to start second half
Nola didn't factor into the decision Friday against the Pirates, allowing four runs on six hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out four.

Advice: After the Phillies jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning, Pittsburgh responded with three straight hits off Nola in the bottom of the frame before tying the game 3-3. The 31-year-old right-hander had delivered five straight quality starts prior to the All-Star break, working to a 3.13 ERA in that span (31.2 innings). Overall, Nola is 11-4 with a 3.54 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 120:28 K:BB across 124.2 innings this season. He currently lines up for a road matchup with the Twins in his next outing. • Struggles with control in loss
Eflin (5-7) took the loss Friday against the Yankees, allowing five runs (four earned) on seven hits and four walks over five innings. He struck out five.

Advice: The Rays right-hander labored in Yankee Stadium, issuing a season-worst four walks. Before this outing, Eflin hadn't granted four free passes in an appearance since Sept. 23, 2019, when he was a member of the Phillies' rotation. After opening the season with a 3.75 ERA across his first eight starts, the 30-year-old hasn't been as sharp over his last 10 outings, pitching to a 4.47 ERA and 44:9 K:BB in 56.1 innings. Eflin is currently scheduled to make his next start against the Blue Jays in Toronto. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:17 pm
