He needed just 68 pitches (49 strikes) to get through five frames — and he would’ve likely worked deeper into the game had it not been for a lengthy rain delay after the fifth inning. The 28-year-old righty got eight whiffs on the night, registering a strong CSW of 34 percent.       Advice: The veteran left-hander struggled in the second inning as he surrendered two runs on a homer, a triple and a sacrifice fly, but he otherwise kept the Rockies off the board. It was a nice rebound for Keuchel in a hitter-friendly park after he gave up five earned runs in his Brewers debut last week. The only run that scored against him came in the second inning as Richie Palacios scampered home on a wild pitch with two outs in the inning.       Advice: The 24-year-old budding superstar scattered just two hits and four walks on the evening. Only once did the Mariners advance a runner past second base on Rodriguez in this one, and that came with two outs in the sixth inning before Rodriguez punched out Cal Raleigh to end the threat. He generated a whopping 19 swings and misses on 104 pitches on the night, posting a strong CSW of 32 percent.
