• Homers in second straight game
Stanton went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run Wednesday in an 11-5 win over the Royals.

Advice: Stanton flexed his power with a 449-foot two-run blast in the fifth inning. It was his second straight game with a home run after an ugly weekend set against the Dodgers during which he went 0-for-14 with seven punchouts. Stanton is up to 17 homers and 40 RBI on the campaign along with a .233/.288/.491 slash line. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:42 pm
  • Shohei Ohtani blasts 17th homer in loss to Rangers
Shohei Ohtani went 1-for-4 with a solo homer against the Rangers on Wednesday.

Advice: Ohtani put the Dodgers on the board with a solo homer off Jon Gray in the first inning. It was one of only two runs the Dodgers would score on Texas in the game. The 29-year-old superstar is slashing .311/.383/.587 with 17 homers, 51 runs scored, 44 RBI, and 15 steals across 300 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:13 pm

  • Giancarlo Stanton goes yard in blowout win
Giancarlo Stanton went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer against the Royals on Wednesday.

Advice: Stanton took Daniel Lynch deep for a two-run shot in the fifth inning to extend the Yankees big lead over the Royals. He then knocked a base hit in the seventh and scored on a three-run blast by Gleyber Torres. It was Stanton’s second straight game with two hits and one homer. The 34-year-old slugger is slashing .233/.288/.491 with 17 homers and 40 RBI across 250 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:03 pm
  • Nico Hoerner swipes two bases in return to lineup
Nico Hoerner went 1-for-4 with two steals Wednesday against the Rays in his return to the Cubs lineup.

Advice: Hoerner hadn’t started since suffering a hairline fracture in his hand Thursday. His two steals tonight gave him nine for the year, eight of which have come since May 1. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:13 pm

  • Jesse Winker has two hits as Nationals top Tigers
Jesse Winker singled twice, drew a pair of walks, drove in a run and scored a run as the Nationals triumphed over the Tigers on Wednesday evening at Comerica Park.

Advice: The 30-year-old outfielder delivered an RBI single in the fifth inning that extended the Nationals’ lead to 4-1. He then scored on a throwing error by Carson Kelly as Luis Garcia stole second base. He has had a resurgent season in the middle of the Nationals’ lineup, hitting .262/.380/.393 with six homers, 30 RBI and 11 stolen bases. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:40 pm

  • Mason Miller serves up walk-off homer to Padres
Mason Miller allowed one run in the ninth inning on Wednesday and was saddled with a loss against the Padres.

Advice: Miller was called upon in a tie ballgame and wound up surrendering a walk-off solo shot to Padres rookie Jackson Merrill. It was just his first loss of the year and second run he’s allowed in four relief appearances this month. The flame-throwing 25-year-old righty has been one of the best high-leverage relievers in baseball and this looks like just a momentary hiccup in an otherwise stellar breakthrough campaign. • Back in action Wednesday
Hoerner (hand) will start at second base and bat sixth in Wednesday's game against the Rays.

Advice: Though Hoerner was diagnosed with a small fracture in his right hand over the weekend, he avoided a stint on the injured list and will make his return to the lineup after missing only four starts. Before his recent absence, Hoerner had gone 0-for-8 over his last three starts, and it may take a bit for him to regain full strength in his hand and recapture the exit velocities he had provided prior to suffering the injury. Fantasy managers in leagues with daily lineup moves may be best served leaving Hoerner on the bench until he resumes producing at a level that warrants keeping him active. • Mashes 16th homer
Stanton went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional run and an additional RBI in Tuesday's 10-1 win against Kansas City.

Advice: Stanton produced an RBI on a fielder's choice in the first inning and added a 446-foot solo blast in the seventh. It was a positive bounce-back after the slugger went 0-for-14 with seven strikeouts during the weekend's three-game series versus the Dodgers. Stanton's .229 batting average on the season isn't ideal, but he's tied for ninth in the league with 16 homers and has added 38 RBI along with 29 runs through 245 plate appearances. • Vlad Jr. is getting a day off on Wednesday
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is not in the Blue Jays’ starting lineup on Wednesday against the Brewers.

Advice: It’s just a routine rest day for Guerrero, who has seen his batting average skyrocket over the last few weeks with plenty of hard contact. The home runs have not been there, and might not ever come back at the level we saw in the past given his launch angles, but there’s nothing to worry about here. Spencer Horwitz will lead off and play first base on Wednesday with Isiah Kiner-Falefa at second base and Ernie Clement starting at third. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:22 am
