• Rays option Austin Shenton to Triple-A
Rays optioned INF Austin Shenton to Triple-A Durham.

Advice: Shenton has been shipped back to the minors with Jonathan Aranda (finger) set to return from the injured list. The 26-year-old posted just seven hits in 37 at-bats with one homer and three RBI over 17 games in his first stint in the majors. Rotoworld Today, 1:50 pm

  • Not in Tuesday's lineup
Hoskins (hamstring) is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Pirates, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Advice: Hoskins had to depart Monday's loss to Pittsburgh because of a right hamstring injury. He underwent an MRI and is slated to receive a second opinion, so there's no word yet on a possible trip to the injured list. Owen Miller has been added to the Brewers' taxi squad in case a roster move is ultimately required. Jake Bauers will handle first base for the Brewers on Tuesday. Rotowire.com Today, 1:42 pm

  • Will return to lineup Wednesday
Phillies manager Rob Thomson said Tuesday that Harper (migraine) will return to the lineup Wednesday against the Mets, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Harper was a late scratch from Tuesday's lineup after he developed a migraine, but his symptoms abated as the game versus the Mets went along and would have been available in a pinch-hitting capacity. He was not used off the bench, as it turned out, but he will be ready to roll for Wednesday's tilt. Rotowire.com Today, 1:36 pm

  • Thomson: Bryce Harper to return Wednesday
Phillies manager Rob Thomson told reporters Bryce Harper (migraine) is feeling better and will return on Wednesday.

Advice: Thomson added that Harper’s migraine cleared up during Tuesday afternoon’s contest against the Mets to the point that he was available to pinch-hit. The 31-year-old fantasy superstar should return to Philadelphia’s lineup on Wednesday, barring something unexpected. Rotoworld Today, 1:30 pm

  • Back from injured list
Urshela (hamstring) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list and is starting at third base Tuesday against the Marlins, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Advice: The 32-year-old landed on the shelf with a strained hamstring April 20, but he's ready to rejoin the Tigers after a three-game rehab assignment, during which he went 5-for-8 with a walk, an RBI and two runs. Prior to the injury, Urshela posted a .298 average through 18 games but didn't provide much pop with just two extra-base hits (both doubles). Rotowire.com Today, 1:00 pm

  • Gio Urshela gets activated, draws start for Tigers
Tigers activated 3B Gio Urshela from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Urshela is playing third base and batting sixth tonight against Marlins lefty Ryan Weathers. He should be a lineup fixture versus southpaws and also see a fair amount of time against righties, with Matt Vierling seeing occasional outfield duty in those situations. Rotoworld Today, 12:58 pm

  • Sent down to Durham
Shenton was optioned to Triple-A Durham on Tuesday, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.

Advice: The 26-year-old will make room for Jonathan Aranda (finger) on the big league roster. Shenton slashed .189/.318/.378 with a homer and four doubles in 44 plate appearances with the Rays. Rotowire.com Today, 12:54 pm

  • Activated from IL
Aranda (finger) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.

Advice: Aranda fractured his finger just days before Opening Day and was forced to get surgery. After completing his 4-to-6 weeks of rehab, Aranda will return to the big league roster, pushing Austin Shenton to Triple-A Durham. In 55 plate appearances with Durham, Aranda slashed .196/.327/.283 with 20 strikeouts. He should see plenty of action at designation hitter but is not in the lineup Tuesday in Boston. • Scratched from lineup with migraine
Harper was a late scratch from Tuesday's lineup versus the Mets due to a migraine, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Advice: Worth noting is that Harper was inadvertently struck in the helmet by a Tomas Nido throw back to the pitcher in Monday's game, although he remained in that contest and it's not clear whether this is related to that. Consider him day-to-day for now. The Phillies will shift Alec Bohm over to first base to cover for Harper, while Whit Merrifield will enter the lineup at third base. Rotowire.com Today, 10:00 am
