    JJ Bleday went 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBI against the Marlins on Saturday.

    Advice: Bleday drew a walk in the second inning, then broke the game open with a three-run homer off Trevor Rogers in the third. He later led off the sixth with a base hit and scored on a home run by Brett Harris. Bleday plated a fourth run with a double in the seventh for good measure.   • Bryan De La Cruz goes yard in blowout loss
    Bryan De La Cruz went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer against the Athletics on Saturday.

    Advice: De La Cruz knocked a base hit in the fourth inning, then took Dany Jiménez deep for a two-run homer in the eighth. It wouldn’t be nearly enough in Miami’s blowout loss.     Greene went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Yankees.

    Advice: The 23-year-old led off the game by taking Clarke Schmidt deep, giving Greene his third long ball in the last five contests and extending his hitting streak to seven games.     Esteury Ruiz was removed from Saturday night’s lopsided victory over the Marlins with a left wrist injury.

    Advice: The 25-year-old speedster suffered the injury while making a tremendous diving catch in left field.     Dylan Carlson (shoulder) is expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list on Sunday.

    Advice: Pedro Pages will be optioned to Triple-A Memphis in a corresponding move on Sunday. Carlson has been shelved since spring training due to his shoulder injury but is finally ready to return to the Cardinals’ outfield.     Carlson (shoulder) will be activated from the 10-day injured list prior to Sunday's game against the White Sox, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

    Advice: Carlson completed a rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis and got through a workout at Busch Stadium on Saturday to clear the way for his season debut. The 25-year-old missed the first month-plus of the season with a sprained AC joint in his left shoulder. With Tommy Edman (wrist) still out, Carlson should see the bulk of the starts in center field for St. Louis. However, it's possible the club could ease him into a full-time role.   • Jack Suwinski delivers walk-off hit against Rockies
    Jack Suwinski went drove in the winning run with a pinch-hit single as the Pirates won a 1-0 game against the Rockies on Saturday.

    Advice: Suwinski stepped in to pinch-hit with two outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth. It just took one run to walk it off in the scoreless game. He delivered just that, knocking a single to left field to end the game.     McCormick (hamstring) began running Saturday and could participate in batting practice within the next few days, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

    Advice: Manager Joe Espada said McCormick has been feeling better since tweaking his hamstring Tuesday, and the team hopes to send him on a minor-league rehab assignment "pretty soon."
