    • Lawrence Butler powers Athletics past Angels
Lawrence Butler clobbered a three-run homer on Tuesday night, powering the Angels to a 7-5 victory over the Angels.

Advice: Butler belted a 344-foot (98.3 mph EV) three-run shot off of Jose Soriano in the fourth inning that increased the Athletics’ early lead to 4-0. In addition, the 23-year-old slugger also singled in the sixth inning and scored on a two-run double off the bat of Brett Harris. Butler finished the night 2-for-4 and is now slashing .188/.266/.297 with just three homers and 11 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:09 pm
    • Brent Rooker has jack and a bag in win over Angels
Brent Rooker socked a dinger and stole a base on Tuesday evening as the Athletics triumphed over the visiting Angels.

Advice: The 29-year-old slugger opened the scoring in the ballgame with his 405-foot (108.7 mph EV) solo shot off of Angels’ starter Jose Soriano in the fourth inning. Rooker also drew a walk in the fifth inning and swiped second base, but he was left stranded there. He finished the night 1-for-3 and is now hitting a respectable .261/.338/.515 to go along with 16 long balls, 48 RBI and three stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:07 pm

    • Picks up steal in loss
Raley went 0-for-3 with a stolen base in Tuesday's 2-0 loss to the Orioles.

Advice: Raley didn't log a steal in all of June, though he hit .263 with an .857 OPS for the month as one of the Mariners' more consistent batters. He's up to six thefts on seven attempts this year, offering modest speed. Raley has added nine home runs, 23 RBI, 30 runs scored, eight doubles, two triples and a .257/.304/.443 slash line across 73 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:58 pm

    • Christian Yelich collects three hits in victory
Christian Yelich went 3-for-5 with a double as the Brewers eked out a one-run victory over the Rockies on Tuesday night at Coors Field.

Advice: Yelich smacked a one-out double off of Ryan Feltner in the third inning, but the Brewers couldn’t cash him in. He then singled in the fifth inning but was picked off of first base. Yelich also singled during the team’s two-run rally in the ninth inning. With his three-hit attack, the 32-year-old outfielder is now hitting .329/.403/.500 with eight homers, 36 RBI and 19 swipes on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:14 pm
    • Brenton Doyle homers again in loss to Brewers
Brenton Doyle homered for the third time in his last two games on Tuesday, but it wasn’t enough to power the Rockies past the Brewers at Coors Field.

Advice: Doyle got the Rockies on the board an evened the score at a run apiece with his 374-foot (94.8 mph EV) solo shot off of Dallas Keuchel in the second inning. He also smacked a go-ahead RBI double in the eighth inning that briefly gave the Rockies a 3-2 advantage. The dynamic outfielder finished the night 2-for-3 plus a walk and is now hitting .264/.328/.424 with 10 homers, 32 RBI and 20 stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:14 pm
    • Staying put in Triple-A
Palacios will not be recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis on Wednesday, Alex Stumpf of MLB.com reports.

Advice: It had been previously reported Tuesday that Palacios was bound for the majors, but the team will instead keep him in Indianapolis for now. The 28-year-old outfielder has missed two months of the season due to an injury, but he's posted a .934 OPS since returning from the IL on June 11. If his bat continues to stay hot, it's possible he still gets the call to Pittsburgh at some point -- especially if Jack Suwinski and Michael Taylor continue to struggle in the big leagues. • Homers, steals in win
Duran went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Duran walked and stole second base in the second inning and hit a solo home run in the eighth. The outfielder continued his torrid stretch, hitting safely in 18 of his past 19 games and homering in three straight. On the season, he is hitting .287 with 10 home runs, 40 RBI, 58 runs scored and 21 steals in what has been one of the biggest breakouts of 2024. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:30 pm
    • Continues strong play
Bellinger went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Bellinger has started to get going after a relatively slow start to the season. He was batting .226 through the end of April, but turned that around by hitting .290 in May and .279 in June. Bellinger is now off to a solid start in July, and after a nice bounceback effort in his first season with the Cubs last year following a disappointing 2022 campaign, the 28-year-old appears primed for a strong finish to 2024. Rafaela went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Rafaela hit a three-run home run off Valente Bellozo in the fourth inning to break the game open for the Red Sox. He hit .315 in June and stayed productive to open July with his first home run since June 17. On the season, the 23-year-old is hitting .244 with nine home runs, 44 RBI, 40 runs scored and 10 steals over 304 plate appearances while primarily splitting time between center field and shortstop.
